Hello:

I have been keeping somewhat of a journal when awakening from certain dreams which seem so real...but in the past few months the same senario keeps going over and over again.

I am trying to figure it out and can see things even while awake..which I'm thinking..help me on this one...could it be of a past life, since I do see myself(similar anyway)someone I was very close to or married to,the place I was in,certain smells, street being dirt, noises, types of clothing..probably early 1800's everyone was wearing and even what type of work I was doing.

It would be nice to get a few opinions on this.

Suzanne

Hi,

First, let me thank you for jumping right on in and posing straight away. We love it when our new members join in!

It sounds to me like a regression of sorts, or it could be part of your spiritual awakeneing.  Why do I say that?  Well I find that dreams, when they are significant, tell you the whole story, presented to you with you being a part of everything in the whole picture.  It's hard to express into written word. Let me try...

Say you dream of a huge wave knocking you off a rock and you wake up (in the dream) in a boat, bobbing on a calm sea.

You are everything in this dream, the wave, the sensation of being knocked off the rock, the boat itself, and the person in the boat.

Symobilically anything to do with water (both physically, spiritually and symbolically in dreams and meditation) represents your inner emotions, and your emotional path through life at any given time.

So in this sample dream you may have faced, or maybe facing, a large emotional trauma or battle (the wave) it has capapcity to knock you off your foundations (the rock) into the ocean (the act of falling off the rock), but you will come through it by conquering your emotional fears (waking up on a calm sea in a boat) The boat is your inner ability to solve your own problems when you need to face them - there it is ready for you to be safe in, the calm seas being the peaceful end to the trauma.

So in the dream you are a part of everything in the dream, the message is clearer when you can take the symbology literally

Now if you have regressed, and you can relate to things, and understand things for no apparent reason, then it is likely that you are being shown a memory for you to learn about your path in this life from...can you retrace your steps in meditation? find out how this little bit of your story ended, and maybe find out what youwould do differently?.....this will give you clues to this life journey and maybe help unravel some of your spiritual desitny so that you can start working with it.

I hope this helps, I am sure plenty of folks round here will have more suggestions too - so you will be able to go with what feels right for you.

Love Erika

I was gonna say that too Erika! It sounds very much like spontanious regression, and trust me it can happen anywhere. The reason why it's showing you the same thing over and over, probably as Erika said, it's pointing to something which you can relate to in this life, it may be driving you nuts, but go with it, from this you can only learn where you have been before. You are one of the lucky one's.....some of us only get tiny, fleeting glimpses.....let us know how you get on hun!
loads of love

Hi Chazz

I don't know hun - some people love it here but for others we just aren't what they are looking for.
If you click on their name it will tell you if they aren't here any more ( a profile will come up if they are)- just a tip for replying to older posts but everything happens for a reason and maybe you have just helped someone else that wouldn't like to ask, so its all good ,

Love Nova xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
