Are you drawn to one particular animal? Does any type of animal scare you? Do you dream of animals? Do you notice things in the animal kingdom around you? Do you find that the animals in your life seem to guide you or support you? * If you answered yes to more than one of those questions, chances are that you are already tuned into the magical world of nature and are ready to explore a little further. If you didn't answer yes, maybe now is a good time to try and connect with the animal world and learn some of its magic on your spiritual journey. What I'd like you to do is ask spirit to send you CLEAR AND DIRECT Clues as to the animal totem that is working with you right NOW. At bedtime say something like: Dearly beloved spirit, I want to embrace the magic of the animal world and am willing to listen to the messages my animal totem has for me right now. Please send me, in away I can't doubt, a symbol of the animal totem that is guiding me and working with me at the moment. Please send the symbol no less than five times in the next three days. Then all you have to do is relax and wait for things to repeat in your day to day life around you. A lot like meeting your spirit guide, you will notice either a small pattern, or be given irrefutable evidence, so that you can connect to your animal totem (guide). Come back here and post your results (or any questions) and I'll look up your animals in my animal magic book to give you the gist of the ways the animal kingdom is tyring to help you and give you messages. Yes Erika - it is a butterfly! And THEN - I went to the village this afternoon and took my camera because for the last week I have seen a Bald Headed Eagle (big white head) in a tree across the lake - and never had a camera on me - He was there! So I clicked a few and then walked around the Lake to where he was and was able to get a good shot of him - BUT at the same time, as I was walking the path, there must have been 50 Dragonflys, Blue Butterflys, Yellow Butterflys and Painted Butterflys - all accompanying me along the path to the tree! I walked past the tree and turned around and the Eagle had flown off - all the Dragonflys & butterflys remained on the other side of the tree until I came back! Then they accompanied me back to the start of the path - and when I looked, the Eagle was back on his perch again! I have never experienced anything like this! It was really moving. Oh CC, I love that very last picture you posted of the lake. It's incredible. My son said it looked like a professional photo and thought it looked like a place he would like to visit.... blow up the air mattress, I'm sending him along.....lol. WOW CC Fantastic pictures - I think i did dragonflies up there somewhere for Minnie, and eagles too, so be sure and have a read there. Heres a wee snippet from the book about butterflies.....(They are my power animal too) Buterflies symbolise Transmutation and the Dance of Joy. Study the process of metamorphosis - four distinct stages of metamorphosoisi for insects; all insects (and thus all ideas) begin as eggs, the eggs hatch to caterpillars which feed and spin cocoons, from a cocoon comes its final expression of life - (with wings)...look more into this in your life journey...see where you are with thought processes, ideas. Make a note of the most important issues confrontingyou at the moment...this will be why the butterfly is with you. What state of change are you at? Nova, keep your eyes peeled outside of home, or on the telly......you see a cat in an unusual way, its a sure sign that kitties are your totem. Love Erika xxxxxxxxxxx |

Hi All - as you know, we have a wonderful country where I live for wild animals - but I honestly have never seen as many as lately since we started this thread! Today we were heading for Kamloops (45 mins. away) and saw this deer, Then, after we turned onto the freeway there was an Eagle's nest at the top of a dead tree with poppa (white head) and momma sitting there - and a baby's head poking out of the nest - but couldn't stop on the freeway! Polly, at last I get to your Lizard...... Lizard magic brings us the subtlety of perception. Its movements are quick, and it is one of the few reptiles that has a voice. You should meditate with your lizard, try to bring your lizard closer so that you can identify its specific breed and study that breed closley, there are hidden magical tricks he can teach you, if you take time to sit and communicate with him. (Yup - very subtle LOL). They signify balance - from their long tails, more for the balance of the chakras, especially if your lizard has spines and crests along its spine, signifying the alignment of chakras and the kundalini. Are you being too sensitive, or maybe not sensitive enough? Are you being too picky or missing the obvious? As your lizard comes closer and you get to know him, so your kundalini with flow stronger and stronger -and for your reiki that will open doors and increase your awareness as you heal. Nova, your puppies..... Dogs represent faithfullness andprotections. Descendents of Wolves, you should look to the wolf magic to guide you also (see above) Examine the qualities of the Alsation - it will reveal much about hte energy associated with it - see its personality, how does it behave most of the time? Canyou relate this to an area of your life, ifnot, maybe you need to mimic these qualities in your life to help enhance the inner you. Hi squishy.... Hers your animal totems: We already had apost about tigers, as quite a fewfolks round here have them as totems at the moment: Lions and Tigers Carry the reminders of the magic of cats, but also a reminder of the strength of the female - the prowl of the lioness, the protector of her family she hunts to feed her young whilst hte majesty of the male signifies self pride and self respect. Horse Symbolising travel, power, freedom and balance. With horse as your totem you should study them, no single animnal has contributed more to the spread of civilianisation. People with horse as a totem are able to explore and find freedom from the constraints of their own communities.
