What is a thought??????

We send them all the time every moment. We are thinking of people or situations that affect our daily lives. What a difference a kind word can have on a person who is feeling low and how we can destroy a person with a harsh word. Our thoughts are a powerful tool and there are many in this world of ours who do not comprehend this. One word or thought can have a great effect on a person. If we can understand how to control this we can help so many people in this world. There is a saying we reap what we sow and this is so true. What we send out will surly come back to us at some point in our lives.

The power hungry man who through his power to control those around him through the attraction of his wealth will be the same man who is sitting alone in despair wondering where everyone is when he is old and his wealth has diminished. They loved me when I had money and power but they have all left me now. At some point hopefully he will see that a man whose genuine love of his fellow human beings and generosity without a hidden agenda is the one that spends last days of his life surrounded by people who love him and are willing support in times of need. He controlled those around him making them dependant upon him, he was there food and wine then he is happily tossed to the side as if he were a rotten piece of fruit, he can no longer nourish there needs. Alas there is no one to nourish him and his needs now. His actions have come full circle.

Yet an old lonely lady who has just herd that the doctor can do no more for her and she must be content to spend the rest of her days in pain and who’s only hope is to be taken quickly from this world is walking down a busy street everyone involved in there own little worlds and a child walking by stops and give her a great big smile or the man who takes time to make sure she crosses the busy road safely or a woman she bumps into that send a shiver of agonizing pain through out her body stops to make sure she is alright the soft tone the concern the smile the human touch as she places her hands around her in comfort these are the little things that can give her the hope and will to carry on another day with a little spark of hope that maybe the world isn’t such a bad place to be in and suddenly the pain isn’t so bad because she knows in her heart that there are people in this world who care even if it is a stranger on the street.

A simple praise, a kind word, a selfless act to help someone who can’t help themselves, a thought to someone who is not well whether in mind, body or spirit. These can make all the difference to touch the waters to create the ripples in the pool of life that filters out to all those that need it. It is the same with negative and destructive thoughts. A simple thought that wishes someone hurt or pain can carry a chain reaction that can spread far and wide. That hurtful thought or word can affect a person or situation to the point of destroying that person’s life or helping to destroy the world we live in.

The pretty girl down the street who always seems to have the sun shining on her she is blessed with looks, happy disposition ,everyone flocks to her she always has a kind word for everyone she is caring towards animals takes an active roll in protecting the environment and loves and respects her family. Now there is a girl who lives down the other end of the road she is not a happy girl she has a disregard for any of the things this girl stands for yet she longs to be her to have the love and comfort the acceptance of her peers and equals. So she sits there day after day wishing and hoping and praying that this girl and her could trade places after all that other girl doesn’t deserve to have so much happiness in her life she should be miserable like her and let her taste what it would be like. As she does this she is sending out these thoughts and prayers into the universe and slowly as her anger and frustration builds she prays harder and harder till she is praying that this girl has some kind of horrible demise and is taken away from her sight. One day as she takes her seat by the window to look upon this girls life and to send these negative thoughts she sees a Hurst pull up outside the house there is a street full of mourners sobbing there hearts out in loss for there little angel the ray of sunshine that touched so many hearts. Did she feel sad no, not her she sees this as a sign that she will take her place she will be the one that they love and flock to. As the days pass and no one pays her any more attention then they did before she sits at her window looking for the next victim to persecute with her prayers of jealousy and hatred she will continue to do this for the rest of her days she is stuck in a never-ending cycle. One day if she ever makes something of herself and if she finds love you can be sure that the woman down the road will be sending her the same thoughts that she sent that young girl from her youth and so the cycle continues.

Now if that girl who aspired to be so loved and cared for looked at how the other girl was with people and her environment she could have taken the positive aspects from her observations and put them into practice she would have become friends with her through mutual interests and be involved in her circle of friends so as to evolve and become a better person sending out positive thoughts to the world and therefore would have reaped the rewards of love and friendship and no doubt an improvement in her family situation. Therefore encouraging others that came into her life to aspire to be more loving and helpful people making the world a better place for those around her to live in.

Both positive and negative thoughts have a chain reaction a ripple effect it is our choice our freewill to choose what type of person we want to be. We need to think carefully of the consequences of what our actions, thoughts and prayers will have on people and the environment around us. We need to raise the vibrations of love in this world before it comes crashing down around us. It’s our life to do with however we see fit lets pray we all make the right choice so one day heaven can be a place on earth for everyone and everything.

I wrote that last summer just sat down and started to type I could see the people so clearly I hope you get something out of it?lol

Thank you for sharing that with us Shining.
One woman in particular that I know is so envious of everything anyone else has she is never willing to go out and make something of her life or be unselfish towards others - I feel so sorry for her really, you can physically see the hatred had literally dried her up inside and out. So sad.
I always think of the advert on the telly with the chain of good turns happening (I hope you know the one I mean) and I so wish that everyone would be like that,

Well good for them Silver, no matter who it was, how wonderful that you where given these examples to pass on - and I wonder why 'I' suddenly felt the need to click into it, when,I haven't ever looked on that board before and why now so long after you posting it? Not as if they're trying to teach me something new, I try to live with these principles as I totally believe in Karma. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, they were well explained and not overly long. Thank you for troubling to post them get any more, then post em up gal.
I love words of wisdom and would do anything to be able to pass on messages of help/sound advice/knowledge in a calm thoughtful way to people I come in contact with for whatever reason to give them food for thought and change for the better if they have problems or grief. Oh well will just carry on being me for the time being I'm sure Spirit will use me in whatever way they need me at a time they want to - I've told Spirit often enough I want to serve. Sandy xx
