I see a lot of you talking about dreams and feel a bit left out!  I can never remember dreaming at all!  I Very occasionally wake up thinking i've just had a dream but when i pick up my diary to right about it the memory is gone.

I'm not even sure if i do dream!  I'm trying to open up my senses and one of they ways to do it is to pay attention to my dreams, but i can't!

Does anyone have any suggstions?  I often wonder if i'm trying to hard as i want so much to be able to sense/see/hear more

Hello Kerry

The first thing that jumped out at me was you said you CAN'T...if you say this word your body and mind make sure of it.

My husband is an Indigo adult and could never remember his dreams either as he was so busy during the day he crashed at night.
The advise he got was just go to bed each night holding the positive intention that you WILL remember your dreams...he would chant over and over before bed "I will remember" "I am memory"
We are also into rocks and gems and the energies that they have...yellow jade placed under your pillow is recommended,  that also helped him.
(There are other rocks that help with dream recall we have many books on the subject and I can look up others for you if you need)

I hope some of this helps
Love and Light
Stacey

As someone who also very rarely remembers their dreams (but my memory is bad now anyway) I will certainly follow your advice,
Thanks Stacey,

I'm pretty good at remembering my dreams but I always have been so I don't have any tricks to share.    Sounds like Stacey has some good advice with the jade under the pillow though.  Nice to see the new members joining in and getting to know each other.

Hugs,
Wheezie

Your right!  I did say CAN'T!!  I didn't even notice that, perhaps that is the problem, my conscious thought wants to remember and sense things but my subconscious for some reason is holding me back.

I think i have always had a self-doubting side lurking around in the background but i guess i'm on the right track to fix it......  positive affirmations from now on!

I'm going to try the Jade under my pillow, thanks for that suggestion.  I seem to recall a stone i saw once and the word dream came to mind when i look at it, unfortunatly i had no money on me at the time to buy it, it was called angel something?  can you help?

Thanks

Thank-you Nova, Wheezie and Kerry...I hope the information is useful and helps with dreaming and recall.
Wheezie so far I love this group and hope to keep sharing what I have learned on my journey as well as learn more from the members here.

Kerry I found 2 stones that have the word angel in the name.....Angel Wing Agate and Angelite

Angel Wing Agate can be used to diminish distractions and to futher abilities of concentration. It helps to imagine a life with no cares, no worries, and no anxieties. One which is perfectly calm and continually serene. It further helps to stimulate the insight required to attain this state. It also amplifies thought transfer and to facilitate telepathic endevours.
Angelite is both a sender and receiver, telepathic communication is enhanced, it helps one in spiritual journies and in astral travel, it is a stone for rising the state of conscious awareness.

So neither stone states it is an actual dream stone but both bring out qualities needed to acheive dream states.

I hope one of these was the stone you saw in the store...

Angelite! That was it, thank you so much for looking that up, they both seem relevant to me in other ways aswell as helping with my dreams so next time i see one i must see if it still "shouts out" at me!

Thanks xxxx

Hi,

I too am one of the lucky ones where i usually always remember my dreams the following morning, and can even recall them later on it the day, but then everyone says i have the memory of an elephant and never forget a thing lol.

One thing that I have realised is that my dreams that are more of premonitions are a great more detailed and although i am dreaming i am aware that it is a message if you see what i mean, it is much more detailed and my emotions always run much stronger, what i do find strange is how it is always a couple of days before the event that i dream of things, and sadly, it has so far not been great things, the two main ones that really still stay with me to this day, is the first one i had at 8 years old, where a lady in white came to me to say that my Grandad wouldnt be with me much longer, bearing in mind he was not in ill health, but two days later had a massive stroke and died, but i always had the feeling that i was told before hand almost to soften the blow when it actually happened if you know what i mean.

The second dream was back in December 2002 it was the 7th to be exact and it was the very early hours. My Grandad the one i talk about above came to me in a dream to tell me that mom was going to be taken from me, i can remember it so clearly i was crying and pleading for him to try and stop it and protect her, but he was calm at all times and kept saying she will be with me and i will look after her, i woke from the "dream" and was still crying, and sat for two hours after sobbing my heart out. Then at midday the phone rang and it was dad to say mom had a fall and was in hospital, her work had called him to let her know, I turned to my husband and said straight away we would loose her to heart attack or stroke.  When we arrived at the hospital mom had a massive stroke, she managed to stay alive for 5 days afterwards, but was never going to survive, the hospital doctors were amazed that she stayed with us for that long, she was barely able to talk but managed to say i love you one last time.

What i found was how amazingly almost easy if thats a word i can use to cope, whilst everyone else was grief stricken i was calm and level headed and knew mom was ok as she was with grandad, her dad. I never really grieved for her to this day, but thats because i know she is with me at all times.

I would love to know if there is anyway to open up further and if anyone else experiences anything like this, i dont know if it is psychic, coincidence or what but it really does make me feel comfort that there is more after this life.

Sorry if i have rambled lol, just my head is full of things and i tend to stuble trying to get it all out lol

Aww samantha i don't know whether to be sorry for your losses or happy that you still have a connection with your grandpa and mum, it's lovely when you knwo they are still around.

I haven't had experiences like that (as above i forget my dreams)  but even in waking hours i haven't had anything that vivid.  I just "know" that my friends and family that have passed over are there if i need them so i guess they know i don't need any more proof.

As long as it's helping you to cope with things better then its a gift!

Hi Samantha,

Wow...thanks for sharing those stories with us...I think thats awesome that you can use your experiences to provide you with calming strength.
I do not get such visions but on 3 occasions of relatives passing  I have been asleep and awoken right at the time they passed.
I also get very vivid visits in my dreamtime of friends and family who have passed.
In the beginning this would upset me greatly and I asked them to stop visiting me, now that I am on my spiritual journey and have learned so much I welcome these visits, look forward to them and cherish them.
So I am happy to say these dream visits are now slowly returning to me.
Thanks again for sharing...

Kerry, I am glad I found the name of the stone for you!!!

Love and Light
Stacey

Stacy and Kerry,

Thank-you for reading my post, and so sorry if i rambled on a little also i tend to do that alot lol.

Another thing that i find helps me to open up, and im not sure if its an aid to me always remembering my dreams lol is amethyst, i have a huge collection of it as have always been drawn to that stone in particular and it has great spiritual qualities and energy around them, and i sprinkle lavendar over my pillow for relaxation too.

As i say it might just be coincidence lol but i find it a great aid with dreaming so maybe you will too?

Much love
Sam.x
