Dear Helen,
there is nothing in the rules which says you can't have a female spirit guide, I don't think it's at all unusual. My advise would be to do a meditation letting your mind relax, as you move from the alpha stage of relaxation to the beta maybe you'll get more answers then. Can I recommend Cassandra Easons book 'contact your spirit guides to enrich your life'. I got mine from waterstones. Keep searching and answers will come. Much love. Take care

HI Helen, The name you heard could be a guide or it could have been a passing spirit and just wanted to tell you their name....lol. As for females not having female guides, I agree with Chazz... there are no rules in that. Some members here that are female have female guides. Good luck in sorting out your question.  dear chazz thankx for your words, ill keep my eyes open for the book. well i thought it a bit odd as far as our guides go, didnt feel right either, why shouldnt we have female guides... i keep tryin with the meditation something will turn up sooner or later.. thanks chazz. love and light helen. xxx |

hi wheezie thanks for your say, and i agree with you and chazz, gona try with the meditation to...when i read about the female guide thing it left me with dout, just didnt seem right.. oh well it will come to me one way or another, just hope its sooner rather than later. lol thanks wheezie love and light helen xxx |

I'd like to find out who my spirit guide is too, i'm going to try some meditation CD's as i find it easier to visiualise things when i'm being spoken through it, maybe this will be worth trying? |

Hi Helen One of the things I love about the site is that although there are lots of lovely people here that will give you their views, opinions and advise. No one here is telling you any rules - ie you should not believe this, or this won't happen. I think Spirit work to their own agenda - and in my case move the goalposts a lot, LOL. I agree with the others completely here and I get the feeling that one day you will find out why you were given this name - one thing I have learnt is that Spirit love to teach patience! I honestly don't put a lot of my belief in mia dolan anyway. Always, always go with what feels right to you, and as wheezie said, maybe it was your spirit guide and she just wanted to give you her name to work on. A lot can be said for relaxing your mind, so light a candle and relax (sometimes it's easier said than done!!) you may get more snippets of information, and above all, don't be afraid!!

The knack to meditation is from my personal experiance...don't try too hard!! Relax and go with the flow. I used to find it easier with cd's and tapes too, now though I tend to take myself to my own special place...do you have a special place in everyday life, where you feel at ease? Try thinking of this place when you next meditate, go there, so it's somewhere real for you not just something made up. You'll find meditation without cds easier.

patience, I think is what everyone needs to learn, but most of us, in our 'must have it now' life, tends to forget that in spirit time there is not the same as it is here.

Well hunni all i can say is if everytime id had a spiritual experience id of dismissed it because someone elses wasnt the same or we held different views id of given up years ago lol the thing with books n such is there the individuals experience and much like we may of never seen a guide that is female, it doesnt mean there isnt any! As it goes i have some!! Maybe ive been greedy and nicked them all hehehehehe! hello girls just want to say thankx to you all for your thoughts and opinion on this, always helps to share things, see what others make of our exsperiences. and i agree with all of you. ive had spiritual things happen to me since i was a girl but never thought anything of them, they were normal for me. i would hide away from my family, sit in the cubbard under the stairs and talk to my spirit friends. thought everyone did.. wasnt till much later in life i realized that not everyone can hear, smell and feel spirits around them. my mother got me into see a doctor because i "spoke to dead people" he thought i was nuts to. lol  im just gettin to know my gifts and trying to learn how to use them. lydia was a name given to me that was so loud it felt ergent, a name i must know because.... left me feelin a bit disapointed really, lol..ok got the name now what do you want me to do with it... i meditate out side in the open air, its easy for me to do this, i live in the middle of nowhere and can be at one with nature. i have found though, it dosent seem to matter if i meditate or not, i still get things given to me.. pictures and smells... oh well il find what this name maeans one day but i do feel lydia is one of my guides and feel i should get to know her... thankx again for all you coments, theyve all been taken to heart. love and light helen xxx |
