Hi, well let me get straight to the point. When I was very depressed about 6-7 years ago, before I drifted off into slumber I heard someone call my name, it was a female voice and it still is today. I have had a male voice speak, but only once and more recently I have had my name shouted at me which jolted me awake. I can only hear this in my right ear. When I meditate and am completely relaxed, I hear whisperings although I can't make anything out. I have seen spirit since I was seven, but Is this spirit speaking? am I claraudient? Anyone who could have any answers for me I'd be glad of any advise.

HI Chazz, Yes, I do believe you are hearing spirit. I think we have all heard our names called waking us up or even hearing them while we are awake. I know I have. Same for the whisperings. I think its their way of getting our attention, letting us know they are there and for us to work a little harder to hear them. I'm sure some of the others in the group will be able to give you more than what I've said here. My happenings with spirit are far between lately so some of the others are more active with spirit. xHi Chazz have to admit I have only experienced it twice, years ago someone shouting 'SANDY' couldn't distinquish whether it was male or female and I was in a deep sleep, it was as if the voice was in the room - I just replied 'Hello' and went back to sleep with a smile on my face. I did wonder in the morning why Spirit would trouble to wake me up but then not give me any kind of message but perhaps it was just to give me the thrill of contact. Not heard anything since, maybe I didn't pay enough attention and should have asked if they wanted a cup of tea or something!!!? Not much help to you though am I - just thought I'd let you know as I'm proud of my little bit of verbal contact, probably all I'll ever get after all these years. Sandy  |

Hi Chazz, Truthfully we all are clairaudient to an extent. Think back over the years to the amount of times that you were considering doing something only to have that "little voice" in your head say.....are you sure you wanna do this? The times that you were driving and going to turn left and for some odd reason you get the thought into your head to go straight. You think that you came up with these ideas all by yourself? Absolutely not.......spirit is constantly whispering at us. The fact that you heard this voice so strongly is simply that spirit has always had a connection with you and its now time to make that connection stronger. To come to you during the nite is only because this is when our minds are much more open..........the fears are not so present as they would be during our waking hours. Imagine for a moment you are driving along and suddenly someone yells in your ear! I dont know about you but had that happened to me I think I most certainly would have veered off the road......lol. I dont know how long you have been involved with spirit, or how long you have been further developing your skills but continue on.........they are trying to make a stronger connection. Meditate when you can........ask them to pull their energies down while you reach yours up.........I do believe you are on the right track here. Eventually you will grow accustomed to it and instead of veering off the road when they speak to you during the day you will find yourself chatting to them. (looks rather odd when you are alone in the vehicle) but makes for some pretty funny looks from others driving alongside you.......LMAO. Have a great day! Jadie xoxo |

thanks for your message. I have had this from seven years old, so it's not new to me. I am trying to develop further. I had one last night, A female who sounded panicked saying ' Sharon!!' she also added 'It's not..' it sounded like she was going to say something else. Now it's been bugging me all day. 'it's not' What?? Maybe I may get more info tonight, but then trying too hard just lets me down!! I know how to meditate, I can get quite into it...but usually just end up so relaxed that I fall asleep! Any ideas on that score? (other than meditating on pins?)

 Hi chazz this is very classic of the beginning of astral/obe 'stuff' lol i say stuff cause there is so much but if ya finding this mainly happening as ya drifting off or the being woken by the shout, which ya will if ya search the net regarding obe's and astral find is a very common thing, it made me feel much better lol i went thru alot of this and i also had very vivid dreams? often wake up after sleep more dazed and confused than ever lol, is this an interest of yours? astral obe, altered states of conciousness? If so id safely say ya can develop it and ya have already quite a natural ability for it (which sum ppl would yearn ya for as they spend years practising it lol) Had dreams of ppl past coming to talk to you? but they were like different.. lol Spirit certainly do find us much easier to deal with at night lol cause as jadie says were alot more receptive, nfact most of my spiritual development has involved me looking like im doing nothing much atall LOL! But i have done majority of my development in astral, lucid and obe, ive had one hell of a journey thru it to lol so if ya decide to look into this path and wanna chat bout the crazys involved lol just hollar and thanks for sharing with us! I had no Idea that it was astral/obe. and yes I have the most amazing yet disturbing dreams, most of them can't be deciphered using dream dictionaries. I've had lots of ppl coming to talk to me in my dreams, telling certain stuff, what I must do and try not to do. I have felt like I've been going crazy since the age of seven quite honestly. No one in my family believed me, apart from my nan. This is not an interest, so to speak as I've no control over it, it's more like, some how I need to develop further, and more to the point want to. Any tips and suggestions will be taken on board.
