Hi everyone,
my son is two, he is finding his speech development tricky. Whilst watching him for a few days I noticed that he uses his left hand a hell of a lot more than his right. I've done a little research on the internet and know that the right side of his brain is predominating the left. I know I've said before that he is my little spirit radar..he has literally no concerntation levels, he loves music do you think I have an indigo child on my hands and if so how do I nurture his capabilities? Any ideas most welcome!
lots of love

Hi Chazz

There is a lot of info on the menu on the left under Indigo Children which is well worth a look. Hope this helps

Hi Chazz

Indigo child or not, I think it would be worth looking at your son's diet to see if there are things there that might be affecting his concentration. If he can't concentrate it will affect his abililty to learn and enjoy just about everything else.  Look at what he's drinking - does it contain sugar, colours, preservatives etc.  Does he have a healthy diet, or is he a picky eater.  It's easy with fussy eaters to fall into the trap of giving them what they will eat weather its healthy or not.

My son, who is now 7, didn't say very much until about 3 months after his 2nd birthday.  Then we had lots of new words every day and whole phrases very soon after.  He's very bright, but as a toddler people thought his concentration was poor, because he got bored with things very quickly.  But with something absorbing enough his concentration was very good.  I taught him his phonics (letter sounds) when he started nursery and showed him what they were for (joining sounds to make simple words) but he wasn't interested in reading, so I just left it.   When he was 4 and a half, his nursery teacher said to me one day  "You know Peter reads words, don't you?".  I didn't!  She had thought I'd taught him to read ... when infact he'd taught himself.  He reads stuff like Harry Potter now, and I have trouble keeping up with his appetite for books.  He loves music too, and is learning to play the violin.

I'm very cautious about labelling children with developmental problems as indigo children.  I think its better to treat them as an individual and address their individual needs - which is really what we should do with all children.

In Love, Light and Peace
Jo

Hi Jo,
My son has a healthy appetite and is not picky in the slightest, he doesn't drink any fruit juice and is only allowed water or milk to drink...I am very careful with both of my children. I'm very sorry if you think I was labelling my own child, but that clearly wasn't the case if you understood the question I asked in the first place.
I sit with my son face to face saying words so he can watch me speak, we read stories together, I'm sure he'll catch on soon enough anyway.
Thanks

Hi Chazz .... .just been thinking about this again.  My intuition is that there isn't anything to worry about, but that is just my intuition.

As your son is aware of spirit, he possibly communicates with them, and might not fully realise that for living people he needs to speak audibly.  If that's the case he'll realise the difference in time (or maybe is already doing so) and he's speach will catch up.  I remember being told with my son that the important thing is their understanding of language - then they will use it themselves when they are ready.

Hugs
Jo

Hi Chazz

Have you read up on Crystal Children at all - they are kind, loving, souls they have been arriving since 1995. They are often late speakers as they communicate almost telepathically and therefore do not need to speak.
If you want more info on them I can type some up for you - in fact I should just do it anyway LOL

Hi Jo,
my son has communicated with spirit since..well since he was born I guess. I now kindly tell the spirits it is his bed time and to leave him to sleep, and sure enough after a few minutes my son is quiet, and drifting off. I understand what your saying and will take it on board.
thanks again
lots of love
