A good question.....At a lovely little spiritualist church I used to go to in NEwquay in Cornwall, one of hte mediums once told us that whenever she came to the services she would see twinkles of different colours around peoples heads, mainly with people she had connected too (rather than just those she had given messages too - so thepeople she would talk with before and after the service).  She said she learend to work withher guides by learning what the colours meant....Silver was generally someones guide just wanting you to know they are there, blue would be for the fathers side of the family, or strong a male figure in someones life (not blue for a boy, but blue forprotection), rose pink for the mums side, or a strong female figure (pink for uncodnitional love of a mother/mother figure) Gold I think could either be someone in spirit close enough to the person to want to use the amount of energy necessary to be seen by someone who can see (so perhaps a really close friend, or someone close to the family), or a higher ascended guide/teacher for the person.

 

HOW COOL!!!!!

 

You could also be picking up on the colours in someones aura.

 

THers lots of stuff out htere about colours and their meanings, do a google search for colour therapy, find a site that you like the 'feel' of and go with what it tells you.

 

Working with colours is a very rewardnig way of working spiritually, andit works GREAT with children.

Oh and i forgot to mention, when i am onsite here and writng spiritual things, or reading for someone, my keyboard has a purple smoky haze over it, thats how i know i am working spiritually when i type rather than just rambling in my own mind LOL

Hi hun intresting reply as i see the same things. Spirits let me know they are they (and i have just realized how many diffrent way lol) I see lights  White ones theres a blue one a purple one an amber one a red one and sometimes a green one. I have seen my main spirit guide in a cascade of blue and pink, and a puppy outlined in red. I have found that just before a birth or exciting news i see a golden lights flashing its quite lovley to watch and it always happens three days before i hear the good news.My G Grandpa Burtie comes with a shimmer of purple to let us know hes around or he will just show himself. Oliver see,s him the most cause he plays with him and makes him laugh well he make us all laugh with his cheeky winks lol I see white mist on my body and purple haze that fills my bedroom with a man but, still havent worked out who he is, with that mainly comes with swirls and pictures so i know its for development. Ant see's green haze's. He see's them cearly all the time. The other night I was pmsl at all the purple lights around my arms sometimes its white still looks so cool in the dark  I see some spirit with my third eye ands on occations I see them clearly like i would see you if you were in front of me, only a little more transparent. I meet up with some in dreams,  and of course medititaion. I feel them alot always touching  lol When I was doing platform work the churches i knew the ones i was ment to pass messages on to because they would show me a golden haze above there heads to start with after that i just knew who to go to.   The amber lights I saw Jacob (a guide works with me and as we found out a little while ago Jewels aswell no supprise there, soul group and all that) he walked threw the wall in my bedroom on day and he was all amber lights, He is a verrrry old and wise teacher lol I see orbs sometimes little ones and on occation a great big electric blue one. I used to see pictures on the walls as well .....I just remembered one day Michael and i were watching tv when I was with Peter ( Olivers dad) and we both looked up at the same time to see a tall figure on the wall surounded in bright light. We were both sitting there saying Did you see that? No really, did you ? Are you sure? What did you see? Yup that what i saw to. lol  It was quite funny. 

 

Heck get me started and off i go..... but it was good to type it all down made me see the diffrent ways they make themselves known. lol

I see whisps of light and I know that that is protection over my children has i've seen it in the kids room, I feel spirit people touching me all the time and calling my name and can sence when it is my father, he's with me alot and i really know when he's near or when he gives me healing, I also see people/ things but very briefly, I thought I saw my grandad (he died when I was 1 so don't remember him) but it was a split second and I got the feeling it was him. but the amber light was different to me this time but i'll definatley look in to colours. My friend is very very creative so i wonder if it was her aura I was picking up on. it's all exciting..

 

Another new one for me, this happened a few weeks ago me and my sister were drining dow the road and I all of a sudden got taken back in time to how this road use to be It then kind of formed as a photo I was looking at of a young man probly arounf the victorian era looking at me the photot was a orangey blak and white (if that makes sence) and I could feel the man stood there, I tried to talk to him but was in shock, pleasnt shock I wasn't scared and I was telling my sister to see if she could pick up on anything, she couldn't and I'm not sure ehat it was I picked up on...I was pleased though that someone in sprit was trying to communicate with me.

How exciting for you always.  Just keep doing whatever it is you are doing, the connections will get stronger, and become clearer over time.
