Hiya everyone, following my post last week about the weird tv programme experience, I thought I would let you all know that the day after posting this I went to visit family and had another strange experience! I had my nan on my mind all day due to being with family and she was brought up in conversation many many times - anyway, later that evening I was at a family members house and went to get a drink, then decided to pop to the bathroom - on my way out of the kitchen I thought about my nan and the kitchen light went of and came back on again! Nan is definately with you just now Rachel. Is there any anniversary coming up soon that means something for her or is it possibly just that you need her around you at the moment ? Love Nova xxxxxxxxxxxxx  |

Hi Nova, Well there isnt an anniversary or birthday coming up but I am due to give birth at the beginning of Dec, I found out I was pregnant only 3 days before my nan passed away and never got to see her before her death as it was quite sudden. However, my mum did get to see her a couple of hours before she passed and told her I was expecting - and she seemed to take it in. From an hour after her death I said that if the baby was a girl then I would call her after my nan, but we were convinced it was a boy - anyway, we have been blessed with a little girl and I feel as though she is a gift from my nan (we had been trying for a baby for a long time) and the name is very significant. So maybe this is why I keep having these experiences? Rach x |

Rach, Your preganancy is absolutely wonderful news and I am delighted for you. I think you know what my opinion is going to be on this next bit. You have been wishing that Nan was still around to meet her Gt Granddaughter when she is born and she is just reassuring you that she is hun. You nkow I alwasy smile when I hear spirit making contact with the loved ones that really miss them for sepcial reasons such as new babies and things. RAch, your nan, I would say, is most definately with you, and she wants you to know she's there. I talk to my Granny and my Grandad every week,and they always come through and show me in some way that, ithout doubt, they are here with me. I bet if you talk to her, she'll come even closer, seh may even be good enough to introduce you to your guide. This is a lovely lovely thread, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Thanks Everyone for your lovely replies - I do think it is her and I know she is with me, which makes me feel better. Its very funny because when she passed in April, it was a shock and I didnt feel as though I could "relax" properly - everywhere I went I knew she was there, I could feel her with me at night, in the day, when I was on my own but I didnt know how to deal with it or why it was happening. In May, I had the opportunity to see a medium and although I had been told by a few people that she might not come through because it was only 4 weeks since her death, she came through so strongly that even he commented on it. He said many things to me that he couldnt have possibly have known and told me things that she wanted me to know. And, ever since that reading I havent felt un-easy, it was like a big "weight" lifted and I could accept it. I dont have the weird feelings all of the time but I still know she is there, but its like I am now at peace with it. If that makes sense? Once again thanks for all of your replies Rach x |
