This has really annoyed me I thought I would see what you all thought.
As you know I had drying machines in my kitchen for many months. And when I got my electricity bill in September it was for £235 so I phoned electricity suppliers up straight away and explained I was waiting for money from insurance company so they said they would put note on computer that I would pay as soon as possible. I have just had phone call to ask if I had sent payment yet I said I posted cheque on Friday for full amount of my bill. The person on phone said could I cancel cheque and pay with my debit card over phone or I would incur late payment charges!! so I said but if I cancel cheque I would be charged anyway. So I suggested he put note on his computer to say if I did have any charges to "Stuff there company" and I would go elsewhere!!
