Inner Thoughts: Angel Evans = Women's Champion
The Untouchable: Jackson Daniels
The Sequel Produced By: Me

There I sat on the front porch of my North Carolina home, dressed in a Sinful Countdown hooded sweatshirt, faded dark blue jeans and a pair of black combat boots. The hood was pulled over my head as a plethora of thoughts ran through my mind. I’m engaged to a man who seems to have other things on his plate than knowing the whereabouts of his future bride. My ex-boyfriend has kidnapped my half-sister and is pretty much holding her ransom until I decide to become his girlfriend again. God knows what he’s doing to her right this very minute. I have a title match this Sunday at Vengeance against five other women. I don’t even know if there’s any special stipulation for this match. It could be a Battle Royal, TLC, Hell in a Cell or anything for that matter. So many damn things to do and so little time to do them in. I seriously cannot deal with so much shit going in my life, but I’ve dealt with worse things so I’ll be able to pull through, whether people want to see me succeed or not. Whatever. I don’t care. I could care less what people think about me. I could care less what people say about me. All I care about right now is getting my sister, Erika, back from the possession of Erick and Dominic as well as capturing the Women’s Championship at Vengeance. I took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before propping my elbows onto the top of my thighs, resting my forehead against the palms of my hands. I felt a vibrating sensation against my stomach as I reached into my sweatshirt pocket and pulled out my black T-Mobile Sidekick, flipping the screen and reading the message I had just received.

Hey Angel. I heard what happened to Erika. I can’t believe that Erick would stoop so low as to kidnap your sister. I really hope he loses on Sunday. After that little stunt, he doesn’t deserve to be going after the World Heavyweight Title. [R.A.]

I began typing the following message:

Totally agree with you, Randi. I’ve known Erick for a long time and when he wants something, he’ll do whatever it takes to get it. It doesn’t matter what the consequences are. I was shocked as fuck when I found out that he kidnapped Erika, but there really isn’t a damn thing I can do about it unless I decide to get back together with him. [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed. I held the Sidekick in my right hand until I felt it vibrating again. I flipped the screen open and read the following from Randi:

Erick is a fucking retard if he thinks that you’re going to get back together with him after the shit he pulled. If you decide to go back to him, I will never speak to you again. [R.A.]

A deep sigh left my lips as I typed the following to Randi:

It’s not that simple, Randi. As crazy and messed up as this may sound, but I still care about the guy. I’ve known Erick for ten years and this is the first time he pulls a bullshit stunt like this. It’s just so fucking overwhelming. I don’t want to put this situation on the backburner, but I also don’t want to lose my match at Vengeance. I hate choosing between my family and my career. [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed. I laid back on my porch and placed the Sidekick on top of my sweatshirt as I rested my hands behind my head. I felt the vibration of the Sidekick against my stomach. I grabbed it and flipped the screen open, reading the following message from Randi:

I know it’s hard, Angel, but I know you can work things out and pull through this horrible situation. Speaking of your match, do you know what type of match you will be competing in this coming Sunday night? [R.A.]

I removed my left hand from behind my head and began typing the following to Randi:

I haven’t been by the arena for a while and Jackson hasn’t really been very talkative with me lately so basically I have no fucking idea what type of match I’m going to be in. [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed. I remained laying on my porch deck with Sidekick in hand as I felt it vibrating again. I flipped the screen open and read the following from Randi:

You are competing against five other women inside an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the Women’s Championship. [R.A.]

I immediately sat up right with my eyes widened like if I was a deer caught in the headlights. Was this girl for real? An Extreme Elimination Chamber Match? I had to confirm this as I typed the following message to Randi:

Don’t fuck around with me, Randi. Are you seriously placing me inside an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match with five other girls? [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed. I waited anxiously for Randi’s response because I had to be absolutely sure that this was no dream. I had to be absolutely sure that this match was going to happen. The Sidekick vibrated and I flipped the screen open to read the message from Randi:

It’s no joke, Angel. You will be fighting inside that chamber to become the Women’s Champion. [R.A.]

The smile that first appeared on my face when I was informed of the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match had now turned into a sadistic grin as I typed the following to Randi:

Randi, I’ll talk to you later. I’ve got a few things to take care of. [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed. Not even a minute passed as I felt the Sidekick vibrating in my hand. I flipped the screen and read the message from Randi:

Alright. Take care Angel. Good luck. [R.A.]

I typed the following to Randi:

You too Randi and thanks. [A.E.]

I sent the message and flipped the screen closed before sliding the Sidekick back into my sweatshirt pocket. I sat on the porch steps, soaking in the information I had received from Randi.

Angel Evans: This is like a dream come true. I’ve had the opportunity competing in a variety of hardcore style matches but never as hardcore or dangerous as an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. The Elimination Chamber Match itself has taken place four times in another wrestling corporation entitled World Wrestling Entertainment. Just last year, the WWE decided to add a little twist to the chamber match by including weapons to the superstars held in the four inner chambers, thus making it an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. This match has now transferred over to the Aftermath, and this Sunday at Vengeance, six women, including myself, will be inside the chamber to compete for the Women’s Championship. Ten tons of steel and two miles of chain comprise the ultimate killer of careers. Once you step into the chamber, your life will never be the same. There is no telling what can happen inside that steel dome. Careers will end and one will resume her life as the Women’s Champion. It’s hard to say who will walk out of the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match intact. Blood will be shed. Bones will be broken. Concussions will occur. Hell, one of us divas could die inside that metal death trap. You got to ask yourself. Is it worth sacrificing your life for a piece of gold attached to a leather belt? Is it worth breaking a few bones, bleeding profusely from the forehead and pretty much committing wrestling suicide to be known as the top diva of the business? Here’s the correct answer. Fuck yeah it is! Every single diva in any sort of wrestling corporation has learned that the Women’s Title is the most prestigious championship in the women’s division. Any woman in wrestling that doesn’t know about the Women’s Championship is either completely retarded or not a true diva of the sport. I clearly agree more with the first reason, but that’s just my opinion. Many would consider that I do not deserve a shot at the title because I would be a terrible role model for the young girls of America who would like to get involved in sports entertainment. Very few others would believe that I deserve to have the Women’s Championship in my possession because I have proven time and time again that I have the skills and talent that would label me a champion. It’s not my problem that I have little girls following me around and wanting to be just like me. It’s not my problem that I have the wrestling skills and abilities that those little girls want to imitate in their future wrestling careers. I’m just that damn awesome. The little future wrestling divas of America will be cheering me on and will be wanting me to become their Women’s Champion. I have complete faith in myself that I will succeed in my match at Vengeance. Those who think otherwise are a bunch of assholes and deserve to burn in Hell. I have worked extremely hard to get this far in my wrestling career and I refuse to let others get in the way of reaching my ultimate goal, which is becoming the Women’s Champion. To the other five women involved in the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match, all I really have to say is good luck because there is no way in fucking Hell that I’m letting any one of you stop me from claiming what is rightfully mine. You five do not stand a chance against me. Would you like to know why? I’ll tell you why. None of you ladies are in my damn league. I know it’s impossible to believe, but it’s very true. None of you will amount to my status. I have accomplished more in my wrestling career than any of you will ever accomplish in your entire life. All you five ladies should consider giving up wrestling. It seriously is not for any of you. I suggest all of you go back to your lives prior to wrestling. All of you will feel a lot safer being inside your homes and watching the competition on the television than actually being the competition inside the ring. The Extreme Elimination Chamber Match is only for those who have, dare I say, the intestinal fortitude to be inside that metal trap. There is only one diva worthy enough to hold the Women’s Title in her hand and that diva just happens to be me. I believe in karma and those of you who wish for me to lose will feel what karma is all about. It’s going to rear its ugly head and come back to each and every one of you ten-fold. Why? Because all of you haters deserve to feel the wrath of karma. Actually, most of you haters deserve to feel my wrath, but that’s another story for another day. Anyways, I don’t care if I’m the first entrant in the chamber or the last. The truth of the matter is that I will be walking out of Vengeance with the Women’s Championship in my grasp and there’s not a damn thing any of you little cunts can do about it. Sorry ladies but the truth hurts. Get used to this, bitches, because I am not going anywhere.

I stood up from the porch steps and walked over to my black 2008 Mercedes CLK550. I disengaged the alarm and opened the driver side door. I stepped inside and slid the key into the ignition slot. I turned the key and heard the engine turn over, pressing my right foot against the accelerator as I listened to the revving of the engine. I drove my car in reverse, backing out of the driveway before switching gears and speeding down the road as the scene fades to a close.

The Sequel Produced By: Me
Musical Inspiration: "The Enemy" - Godsmack

I have always been interested in the finer things in life. Well, I can’t really say always because that would include my childhood and my childhood was nothing but a horrible, horrible nightmare that came true. Okay, let me rephrase my original thought. I have been interested in the finer things in life since entering the world of professional wrestling. Fancy cars, lavish homes, expensive jewelry. It comes with the lifestyle of someone who is in the sports entertainment business. Hell, I am not complaining about the big, fat paycheck that I receive from the Aftermath, but I love coming back to my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to spend time with the friends that I have known since my high school days. I find it very rewarding to have those who stick with you through the good times and the bad times. It just makes them your best friends and I’m grateful for having that. I drive into the parking lot of The Nail Shop, one of Charlotte’s many nail salons. I find an open space near the entrance and park my Mercedes. I turn the key and shut the engine off before stepping out of the vehicle and pushing a little black button on my key chain, engaging the car alarm. I walk through the parking lot and push the glass door that leads into the nail salon as a little bell sounds, indicating the arrival of a customer.

Female #1: Hey, can somebody attend the customer that just walked in?

Female #2: I’m busy working on a pedicure here.

Female #3: I’ve got a manicure over here.

I couldn’t help but shake my head and laugh at how busy my friends always were in this place. It’s just too funny. I pushed the hood back and watched as one of the girls stepped out from the back part of the salon. She looked over at me. At that moment, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened as a smile spread on my face. It wasn’t one of those cocky little smiles either. This one was very genuine because I was very glad to see all my friends in this place.

Female #4: Angel!

She came walking towards me and wrapped her arms around me, squeezing tightly as I returned the hug. All the other girls looked up and were shocked to see me there. It has been a while since I’ve been around this place, and God have I missed it.

Female #2: Oh my God. It IS Angel.

Female #3: I can’t believe it.

Female #1: It’s been so long.

The other three girls came over and each of them gave me a hug. I returned each and every hug with a tight squeeze of my own.

Angel Evans: Well, it looks like you girls have been doing very well for yourselves. You seem kind of busy today. Should I come back another time?

Female #1: Hell no! We can always make room for our best friend. Besides, it’s been way too damn long since we’ve seen you around here.

Angel Evans: I know Veronica, but that’s my fault. I’ve been so busy lately with things. I’m really sorry guys.

Female #2: It’s cool Angel. We know that being on the road can be pretty hectic. You’ve told us that before so we understand what you’re going through.

Angel Evans: Thanks Vivi. I appreciate that. I thought Rosy was going to have a heart attack after she saw me.

Rosana: Can you blame me?! I haven’t seen you in months.

Angel Evans: I know. It’s cool. I’ve missed all of you so much.

Female #3: We’ve missed you too Angel.

Angel Evans: Thanks Amy. Where’s Ana? I don’t see her.

Veronica: It’s her day off today. It’s a good thing too. She had an argument with a customer the other day. I swear to you, Angel. I almost threw her out of here.

Angel Evans: No way. What happened?

Vivian: Well, the lady wanted to have her fingernails painted pink. Usually, customers choose the color they want by grabbing the nail polish bottle from that rack over there. She told Ana that any pink was fine with her. Mind you that the customer was on her cell phone through the entire manicure. Well, Ana chose like a carnation pink for her. She went on with the manicure while the customer yapped on her cell phone. Anyways, when Ana finished and the customer looked at the finished product, she got pissed off because, according to her, the color was too dark. She made such a big deal out of the situation and this upset Ana because the customer asked for pink. She never specified what shade of pink she wanted so Ana chose the best shade for her. She and the customer got into such a heated argument that Veronica had to step in.

Veronica: It pissed me off that this customer verbally insulted Ana, telling her that her work was horrible and that she should be fired. I couldn’t hear anymore from her and told her to leave my salon or the authorities will be called on her for completely berating and mistreating my employees. I’ll tell you one thing. That lady won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Angel Evans: After that story, it wouldn’t surprise me if she doesn’t come back here again. I can understand what Ana went through. I have to deal with stupid people everyday in my profession so I can totally relate.

Rosana: I have never seen Ana so angry before. That was the first time I’ve ever seen such a huge argument between a customer and one of us employees.

Amy: I’m just glad Ana was able to cool off after that spat.

Veronica: I gave her the rest of the day off so that she can relax and not have to worry about work.

Angel Evans: That’s good.

Vivian: So what can we do for you, Angel?

Angel Evans: The usual.

The usual for me equaled gel acrylic fingernails. I love getting acrylics. They may be very damaging to my actual fingernails, but they look damn pretty and very feminine on me.

Veronica: Well, what are we doing standing around and wasting time for? Let’s get back to work, girls.

Vivian, Amy and Rosana returned to their attending customers while I took a seat at Veronica’s counter. She came around and sat behind the little desk as I placed my hands on the table and watched her getting started on my nails. Veronica noticed the ring on my left hand and looked up at me with surprise.

Veronica: Angel, did you get yourself engaged again?

Angel Evans: Yeah I did.

Vivian, Amy and Rosana: AGAIN?!?!

Angel Evans: Damn girls. Yes, I got engaged again.

Vivian: Who’s the lucky man?

Angel Evans: Jackson.

All the girls stopped what they were doing to look at me in disbelief. I turned to each one of them and noticed that they were not happy to hear the news.

Amy: Are you serious?

Angel Evans: Yeah I am.

Rosana: Didn’t he cheat on you with some other woman behind your back?

Angel Evans: He did.

Veronica: And you still got engaged to that asshole?

Angel Evans: Unbelievable, right?

Veronica: Damn right it is. What about Erick?

Angel Evans: He kidnapped my sister, Erika, and is holding her ransom until I decide to dump Jackson and get back together with him.

Vivian: Wait a minute. Run that by me again.

Angel Evans: Erick and his brother, Dominic, are holding my sister hostage until I dump Jackson and get back together with him.

Rosana: What makes him think that you’re going to get back with him after that stupid stunt?

Angel Evans: I have no fucking clue but I have to figure a way to get Erika back. God only knows what those two are doing to her.

I let out a deep sigh as thoughts of Erika being tortured flashed through my mind.

Angel Evans: I don’t want to put this situation in the backburner. I really don’t but I can’t lose any concentration when it comes to the match I’m competing in this Sunday.

Vivian: What kind of match is it?

Angel Evans: It’s an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the Women’s Championship.

Amy: I thought only men were allowed to compete in such a dangerous match.

Angel Evans: Apparently, that’s not true since I’m facing five other women for that title.

Veronica: We’ve got faith in you, Angel. After everything you’ve done in your career, you deserve that title belt.

Angel Evans: You girls understand me so well. I try to tell my opponents that, but they still believe that they have a chance at becoming the Women’s Champion. They don’t want to get the message that, at Vengeance, I’m going to become the first Aftermath Women’s Champion inside their stupid little heads. It really pisses me off.

Rosana: They’re in denial, Angel.

Angel Evans: I keep telling myself that. My opponents are in denial. They’re afraid of what the outcome is going to be in that match. I have no problem telling them the fucking outcome. In fact, I keep repeating it over and over again, but it doesn’t seem to want to stick in the hollow spaces inside their heads.

Vivian: Alright. List off the women you’ll be facing in this match.

Angel Evans: Well, there’s Blair Brooks, Desira, Kaylee Adams, Angelina Vaine and Kelly Stratus. You know, it’s kind of funny. All these girls seem to resemble a diva from the World Wrestling Entertainment. I guess if they want to idolize their favorite WWE diva, who am I to stop them?

Rosana: Let’s start with this Blair Brooks character.

Angel Evans: Blair Brooks reminds me of WWE’s Melina. Same look, same entrance, same everything. Don’t get me wrong. I imitate one part of Melina’s entrance when I’m on the ring apron, but I don’t copy the entire entrance. Be original. That’s why I try to do. Anyways, I haven’t seen much of Blair since she won her qualifying match a few weeks back on Raw. It’s like, once she found out that she was going to be inside an Elimination Chamber, she packed her bags and fled from the Aftermath. It wouldn’t surprise me either because Blair really doesn’t have what it takes to be inside that chamber or, what I prefer to call it, the metal death trap. In my personal opinion, I don’t see Blair as championship material. She does not have the skills that it takes to become a champion. How she won her qualifying match confuses the hell out of me, but once she steps inside that chamber, she will actually regret winning her match. The Elimination Chamber is not for everyone. It’s for those who have the ultimate drive and the most passion for the prize that awaits at the end of the match. That prize is the Women’s Championship and only one person deserve to hold that belt in her hands: me.

Amy: What about Desira?

Angel Evans: I have no fucking clue who that chick is. She is brand new to the company and has replaced Eryhen Adams in the match. I’m guessing Eryhen had other more important things to take care of since she decided to pull out of this match. Whatever. It’s cool though. I’ve got no problem facing that Desira girl. I really don’t see her as competition since she really hasn’t proven herself worthy of receiving a shot at the Women’s Championship. Apparently, the managers of the company had to stick somebody there in Eryhen’s place and they decided to choose a complete stranger. A nobody. I’ve seen stranger things happen in the company so I really don’t care. Desira needs to understand that she will not stand in my way of gaining access to my prize. If she does decide to stand in my way, then she will have to face the consequences.

Vivian: How about Kaylee Adams?

Angel Evans: The only woman that I actually consider competition in this match. I will not deny the fact that Kaylee has proven herself worthy at receiving a Women’s Title shot. Now, there is a difference in receiving a shot and actually winning the title. I think Kaylee doesn’t realize that I plan on stopping her chances of becoming the Women’s Champion. I may be wrapped up in other things that are going on in my life right now, but that doesn’t mean that I will lose focus on my goal at Vengeance. Nothing is going to stop me from ruining that pretty little face of hers. It wouldn’t surprise me if, after Vengeance, her husband refuses to look at her because of the damage that I caused to her face. It’s not my fault. She wanted to get hold of the prize and I stopped her by driving a weapon into her face and causing her permanent damage. When I want something, I will do whatever it takes to get it, whether or not it involves completely destroying the career of my opponent. I want that Women’s Title and no one is going to stop me from getting it.

Rosana: Next, Angelina Vaine.

Angel Evans: Oh my god. Where do I begin? This little girl got so pissed off that she lost her qualifying match. I heard that she went to management and begged to placed in the pay per view. I couldn’t believe that she got her wish to compete in this Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. This is another one who thinks she has a chance at getting the title. She will soon realize how clouded her little mind is when she watches my arm being raised in victory and I am handed the Women’s Title. I hate to burst the bubble, but Angelina is not qualified or will ever be categorized as championship material. Why? Just look at her and you’ll know what I’m talking about. She looks like she needs to be slapped around a couple of times in order to get the wheels turning in her head, and it looks like I’m going to have to be the one to do just that. Well, it’ll be my pleasure to completely humiliate Angelina in the ring and make her understand who the true Women’s Champion should be.

Veronica: Last but certainly not least, Kelly Stratus.

Angel Evans: Ah, the lesser of the Stratus sisters. For being Trish’s sister, the two look nothing alike. One is a blonde or at least I think she is and the other is a brunette. You need to wonder if these two are really blood related, but I could really care less. Kelly has been so focused on family matters that she fails to realize that she has to compete in a match this coming Sunday. I really wouldn’t mind if Kelly didn’t show up for the match. That’s just one less cunt that I need to humiliate in the ring. I don’t understand how Kelly wound up in this match. Honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me if she slept with Jackson to get a spot in the match. It seems like she has to sleep around to get what she wants, just like her sister, Trish. It’s so sad really. Spreading your legs is not going to make you become a champion. It’ll just make me sick because of the foul odor that will come out of there. Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit. Anyways, Kelly better pray to God that she doesn’t show up because she will be at the receiving end of a major ass whooping. If she happens to appear, all the better because she will definitely not be walking out of that chamber. She will have to rolled out on an ambulance stretcher, courtesy of me.

Amy: Do you think you’re ready for your match, Angel?

Angel Evans: I know I’m ready. I’ve never been more ready for anything else in my entire life than this championship match at Sunday. At this point in my life, I can safely say that this is the biggest match I have ever competed in, but I’m not worried. Better yet, I’m completely confident in myself that I will walk out of Vengeance with the Women’s Championship over my shoulder.

Veronica: We know you can do it, Angel. Check out your nails. What do you think?

I looked at the wonderful job that Veronica did with the acrylics. The tips were white and the rest of the nails a baby pink color.

Angel Evans: They look awesome Vero, as always. How much do I owe you?

Veronica: They’re on the house, girl.

Angel Evans: Are you sure?

Veronica: Positive.

I stood up from my chair and gave her a hug before going to each of the girls and giving them hugs as well.

Angel Evans: This has been such a blast, girls. I’ve missed you all so much and I’m really hoping that we can do this again sometime.

Vivian: We will the next time you’re in town.

Angel Evans: That’s a promise.

Rosana: We’ll be rooting for you on Sunday, babes.

Angel Evans: Thanks girls. That means a lot to me.

Veronica: Just bring that belt the next time you come around so that we can have a chance to hold it.

Angel Evans: No problem. I’ll see you girls. Take care of yourselves.

Amy: You too Angel.

I waved them all goodbye as I headed out of the nail salon. I walked through the parking lot towards my car as I pushed the little black button on my key chain to disengage the alarm. I opened the driver side door and stepped inside before closing it and sliding the key into the ignition slot. I turned the key and listened to the revving of the engine. I pushed a button near the door handle as the driver side window slid all the way down.

Angel Evans: Take a good look bitches. This is greatness personified. I’ll see you all very soon.

I pulled out of my parking space and sped out of the parking lot and onto the street as the scene faded to a close.

Vengeance. What a perfect name for a pay per view. The card was something that the entire audience will enjoy. One of the biggest matches featured is the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the Women’s Championship. Six women will go into the chamber but only one will emerge with the Women’s Title in her possession. Everyone knows that that diva is going to be me, Angel Evans. People don’t seem to understand that I want to become the Women’s Champion more than the other five women in this match. Well, it looks like I’m going to have to show the people what I’m really all about, not like I haven’t done that already. I walked into the Ford Field arena with my head held high. That’s how much confidence I had in myself. My attire consisted of a Sinful Looking Through corset, a black cheerleader-style skirt and a pair of white stiletto heels to match. I had my hair the straightest it has ever been as my dark red highlights brightened with each passing underneath a fluorescent light. I walked over to Stacy, the resident makeup artist for the Aftermath divas.

Angel Evans: Hey Stacy. What’s going on?

Stacy: Hi Angel. It’s been a while since I’ve seen you around here.

Angel Evans: I know and I apologize for that. I’ve been dealing with some personal problems and I really haven’t felt like being around this place.

Stacy: I understand Angel. We all go through our problems.

Angel Evans: Yeah.

Stacy: What can I do for you?

Angel Evans: Think you can make me look beautiful, Stace? I want to look picture perfect for when I win the Women’s Title.

Stacy: That won’t be too hard to do. You’re already very beautiful.

Angel Evans: Thanks Stace.

I sat down in the director-style chair as Stacy began to work on my makeup. She began applying the eye shadow. She chose a mix of black and red to match the corset I was wearing. She applied the shadow over my left eyelid then over my right.

Stacy: Are you ready for your match tonight?

Angel Evans: As ready as I’ll ever be.

Stacy: You think those other girls have what it takes to bring you down?

Angel Evans: Not at all. In fact, all those other girls are not even in my league. It’s funny that they think they stand a chance against me. I just find it plain hilarious.

Stacy: I agree.

Angel Evans: Think about it, Stacy. Blair Brooks, Desira, Angelina Vaine, Kelly Stratus and Kaylee Adams believes that they will get in my way of retrieving the Women’s Championship that clearly belongs to me. What are these little whores thinking? Do they not see it? I am the only diva in this company worthy of being named the Women’s Champion. Those other girls don’t seem to want to get that message through their thick little skulls.

Stacy: I know Angel, but I’m sure they’ll get the message tonight.

Angel Evans: Oh they will. Believe me. They will surely get the message tonight.

Stacy finished with the eye shadow and went on to work on my lips. She gently applied a clear lip gloss against them before placing the bottle back with the rest of her supplies.

Stacy: Alright Angel. Let me know what you think.

I looked at myself in the mirror as a smile spread on my face.

Angel Evans: It’s perfect Stacy. Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

I stood up from the chair and gave Stacy a hug for the beautiful job she did with my makeup.

Stacy: No problem Angel. I would wish you good luck on your match tonight, but I really feel like you won’t need it.

Angel Evans: You’re right. I won’t need it. I’ll see you later Stacy.

Stacy: Take care Angel.

Angel Evans: You too.

I walked down the corridor leading to the many locker rooms belonging to the various superstars and divas of the Aftermath. I came across a door with a gold nameplate in the very center. Engraved in it was the name Jackson Daniels. The words Aftermath CEO were engraved underneath his name. I stared at the door for a few seconds before taking my leave and continuing my path through the corridor. I heard a door open behind me and wouldn’t you know it? It just happened to be Jackson’s door. He stepped out of his office, dressed in a black and white pinstripe suit with a matching white button shirt underneath. A black necktie completed the ensemble. He looked over to his left and saw his bride-to-be walking through the hallway.

Jackson Daniels: Angel!

I tried to ignore him calling out to me, but I figured it would be of no use because he would eventually catch up to me. Soon enough, I felt my left arm being grabbed. I turned around and stood face to face with the man who I thought was my future husband but I’m really not sure about that right now.

Jackson Daniels: Didn’t you hear me calling you back there?

Angel Evans: I did.

Jackson Daniels: And you didn’t respond because?/FONT>

Angel Evans: I felt like I didn’t need to respond just like the way you haven’t been responding to me every time I call you or leave a message on your cell phone.

Jackson Daniels: I’ve tried calling you back.

Angel Evans: No you haven’t.

Jackson Daniels: Yes I have.

Angel Evans: Give me your cell phone.

Jackson Daniels: Why?

Angel Evans: Just give me your damn phone.

Jackson reached into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone, placing it into my open right hand. I flipped it open and pushed down on the number one, accessing his voicemail.

Recording: You have five new messages. The last one being on Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 at 9:45 p.m.

I shut his cell phone and handed it back to him.

Angel Evans: If you check every one of those voicemails, you’ll see that they all came from me.

Jackson Daniels: Angel, I’m sorry. I’ve been really busy with promoting the company in other parts of the country. I just want to see this place become successful.

Angel Evans: Yeah well, I’m sorry too.

I gently slipped off the engagement ring that Jackson gave me a few weeks ago.

Jackson Daniels: What are you doing?

I grabbed his right hand and placed the ring in his palm before closing his fingers into his fist.

Angel Evans: I’m having you hold onto this until you realize that you need to set your priorities according to what is most important in your life. Right now, I feel like I’m at the bottom of your list.

Jackson Daniels: Angel?/FONT>

Angel Evans: I need to go, Jackson.

I turned around and continued my way down the corridor, leaving Jackson to think long and hard on his priorities as the scene switches over to the inside of the arena. We take you now to Jim Ross and Jerry “The King?Lawler sitting at ringside.

Jerry “The King?Lawler: This does not look good, J.R. Angel may end up leaving Jackson for good.

Jim Ross: She deserves better than him. All he’s been doing lately is ignoring her, naming work the blame for his absence.

Jerry “The King?Lawler: If anything, Angel can always come over to me. I’ll treat her like the queen she is.

Jim Ross: Keep dreaming, King.

The commentators continue with the conversation regarding the Vengeance card. Suddenly, “Live for This?by Hatebreed plays over the public announcement system. The camera is now focused on the entrance ramp. The black curtain is seen being pushed to one side as I slowly step out onto the entrance stage. The entire audience has gone into a frenzy at my expense. I place my hands on my hips and spread a little smirk on my face before heading down the ramp.

Lillian Garcia: Ladies and gentlemen. Please welcome to the ring, Angel Evans!

I approach the ringside area and take hold of the middle rope, hoisting myself onto the ring apron. I raise my left leg into the air before suddenly dropping down into a straddle position as I slide myself underneath the bottom rope. I lift myself to my feet and walk over to the opposite side of the ring, retrieving a microphone from one of the stagehands at ringside. I step over to the center of the ring, feeling the smile on my face spread even more. I listen to my music fade in the background as I slowly raise the microphone to my lips.

Angel Evans: Some people in this company may say that I do not deserve a shot at the Women’s Title because of certain events that took place approximately six months ago. Of course, everyone knows that I’m speaking of the time I went to prison for murdering my father, Jonathan Mason. I did what I did because it had to be done. I will always be known as a murderer for it, but everyone should realize that I’ve done more in my life than just killing my father. In my wrestling career, I have won more championships than any of you people can even imagine. I’ve accomplished more in my four years of wrestling than any of you pathetic imbeciles ever will in your entire lives. Sad but true. As many of you are aware, I will be competing in an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the Women’s Title tonight at Vengeance. In all honesty, I couldn’t think of a better name for a pay per view. It just fits so perfectly with the recent happenings of the company. Anyways, there is something that everyone needs to know. It seems that the other women that I am competing against have this idea that they can bring me down and claim the Women’s Championship as their own. These girls couldn’t be more wrong. Let’s take Blair Brooks for instance. Blair has this recording built into her head which makes her believe that she has what it takes to become the Women’s Champion. Let me tell you something, Blair. Keep that recording playing all you want. It’s not going to stop me from completely humiliating you in front of the thousands of people appearing in this arena as well as the millions of people watching on their television sets at home. All the training that you’ve been doing is not going to help you. In fact, nothing is going to help you in this match tonight. I’m sorry to say this, but you will be nothing but a lifeless body in the middle of the ring. Let’s move on to Desira. I have no fucking clue how this girl got placed into this match. She appears out of the blue and is automatically given a shot at the Women’s Title. The real reason why this Desira chick was placed in this match was because Eryhen Adams apparently had some personal problems at home and had to be pulled out of the match. I guess Christian is up to his old tricks again. It’s sad that Eryhen had to retreat from this match because she had to put Christian in line. Oh well. Shit happens. This Desira chick doesn’t belong in this match and she will clearly realize that when she stands toe to toe with me. She will begin to realize what a mistake she made stepping into the chamber as she will feel what it’s like to be torn limb from limb by yours truly. Next is Angelina Vaine. There’s not much I can really say about this chick except that she gets on my fucking nerves. I can’t believe she had the nerve to go to management and beg for another shot at the Women’s Title. It pisses me off. The truth of the matter is that Angelina does not deserve a second shot at the championship. It wouldn’t surprise me if she decided to give a little something-something to management just so that she can receive her shot. Angelina, you’re just like the rest of these divas. You’re willing to get on your hands and knees or lie flat on your back to get what you want. Here’s a reality check for you. I didn’t have to sleep with anyone to get this far in the tournament. I don’t have to spread my legs to anyone and offer them a little pussy to get what I want. This brings me to my fourth opponent of the night, Kelly Stratus. Kelly, you were fortunate to get the position of ECW General Manager because you were sleeping with Jackson at the time. It surprises the hell out of me that you were able to get yourself this far in the tournament. Let me guess. You slept with Jackson for a title shot. That is so typical of a whore like yourself. Listen to me, Kelly. You do not belong in this match. You may be known as the General Manager of Extreme Championship Wrestling, but that doesn’t mean that you are extreme. Extreme comes from inside you and the only thing inside you, Kelly, is straight up stank pussy. Plain and simple. My final opponent for the night is the only one I consider competition in this match. That person is Kaylee Adams. Kaylee, let me be the first to say that I respect you. I respect what you’ve done in your career and what you stand for. There is a little problem though. I will not respect the fact that you believe that you will walk out of Vengeance with the Women’s Title in your possession. Let me paint a picture for you, Kaylee. You step into the chamber and see the rest of your opponents. Punches will be thrown. Kicks will be exchanged. Powerful moves will be executed. When it’s all said and done, there will be one diva who will be standing in victory. One diva who will be crowned the Women’s Champion. Ladies, the diva you see before you will be known as the first Aftermath Women’s Champion. Please understand that it will be my pleasure to take down each and every one of you because, in the end, I will be the one standing in the center of the ring as I am awarded with the Women’s Title. It’s like I’ve said before. Take a good look whores. This is greatness personified.

I toss the microphone down onto the mat as “Live for This?by Hatebreed blares over the public announcement system. I walk over to the ring ropes and exit via the top and middle ones. I glide over the apron and walk down the steel steps. I head up the entrance ramp with a confident smirk on my face, knowing in the back of my mind that there is nothing anyone can do to stop me from reaching my goal. I make it to the stage and walk towards the black curtain, pushing it aside and making my way to the backstage area as the scene fades to a close.
