Kaylee's birthday had come and gone and to be honest she was still feeling the effect. Her stomach was still turning and well her head had been pounding. Keith informed her that she did get pretty messed up but time was on her side and it has been days since that night. Kaylee got out of bed and put on her robe only to moments later fall back onto the bed with a wave of dizziness. She tried to get up again this time successful. As she opened the bedroom door she smelled a wave of a mixture of eggs and bacon. Keith must be over watching the kids for her. As the smell got stronger Kaylees stomach started to turn even more and at the site of it ran to the bathroom expelling everything that is in her stomach which wasnt much. Kaylee stood up and looked at herself in the mirror and shook at the site of herself. Her hair was all in tangels and she looked really just pale. Kaylee left the bathroom door and walked back into the kitchen to see her brother and children eating breakfast. She looks at them and starts to talk.

Kaylee thanks him and then gives each kid a kiss on the head before grabbing a bottle of water and heading back into her room. She lays on the bed and falls asleep for a little bit. As she does she tries to remember a time when she felt as bad and she can only remember one. She jots up in bed and picks up the phone. She dials her sisters phone number and a half an hour later her sister arrives with some bags. She empties the bags on the bed and we see several home pregnancy tests. She takes them and after a little while she comes out with them all in her hands. She runs down the sticks and most of them have the result as positive. Kaylee sits on the bed and then looks at Eryhen starting to talk.

Eryhen picks up the phone and within a half hour Kaylee has an appointment with the doctor who delievered Eryhens Child. Waiting in the office she is finally called and it is confirmed that she is indeed pregnant. Kaylee looks up at the sky and just starts to cry. This couldnt have come at a worser time. With her fighting with Chris she really didnt know what to do. Chris already called her a whore and now hes going to think that this child aint his. She gets off the table and puts her clothes back on before coming out of the room and seeing her sister. She nods her head slightly and then breaks down in tears before leaving the office. Kaylee is silent in the car and goes right into her room when they get home. KEith brings home the kids and Kaylee sees what they got and then looks at Keith. he gets the hint and puts on cartoons for the children and then comes back into the room. Kaylee opens her mouth and starts to talk or moreso ramble

So I know you said I looked like hell and well I thought and well the only other time I felt this sick and this disgusting was when I first found out I was pregnant. I dont know why I thought of it but I did and well Chris and I the night of his party we ya know and well ya know. So I had Eryhen get me some tests ya know... and well I took them and well they came out the way I so not wanted them to. I dont know why I was so confused about it but I mean it sounds right and well the way I feel.. [Keith looks at her confused] Im sorry Keithy I know im rambling but I need to get back home and talk to Chris and I just can watch the twins. I promise it will nly be for a few days.
Keith nods his head and Kaylee packs her bag. She makes a plane reservation and then sneaks out of the apartment so as to not upset the kids. Arriving at Logan Airport she boards the plane to Chicago and arrives in no time. Coming out she hails a cab and is soon pulling up outside of the home she shares with Chris. Kaylee pulls her keys out of her bag and opens the door and as she does the smell of stale pizza and beer is just too much and she drops her bags heading to the bathroom. All the commotion must have woke someone up and she hears a voice. Kaylee follows it and sees that it is her brother in law Chris who is sleeping on the couch. He has a slice of pizza on his chest and the ps2 controller by his hand. He must have been up with Chris playing Madden 09. Kaylee shakes him and as he wakes up more is informed that its time for him to go home. He walks into the guest room and gathers his things. Kaylee walks him to the door and then follows the stench some more up the stairs. Turning the corner she sees that the house is covered in filth and its like Chris threw a frat party or something. Kaylee walks down the hall and finds the master bedroom. She opens the door to find Chris asleep on the bed. She walks further into the room and sees all his clothes thrown about is like he didnt even want to do laundry. She shakes him and then listens as he starts to grumble not wanting to wake up. Finally having enough she starts to yell.

Chris ignored the yelling thinking that it was a dream but as Kaylee yelled at him again he finally looked at her and started to talk

Kaylee walks out of the room and down the hallway she grabs the telephone and calls a cab. Opening the door she brings her things and sits down on the front step waiting for her ride. Sitting there she allows the tears to fall while placing her hands on her stomach where the child is growing.
