A day has passed since Kaylee had gotten the shock of her life. To think that Chris was that cold hearted and that cruel to play a joke on her for all these years. This news sent her down into a spiral and if it wasn’t for her best friends Courtney and Trish, Kaylee didn’t know what would have happened. After her sister left last night with her son Kaylee just lost it completely. She knew as long as her son was in the house she couldn’t do what she really wanted to and that was drink. Kaylee grabbed a bottle of Vodka and that was the beginning of the end for her. All was forgotten for the moment and the emotional pain was a distant memory. Until Morning. That’s when we catch up with the blonde woman. She is laying face down in her bed sound asleep, her face masked by the make up she failed to remove the night before. There is a shrill coming from the table sitting next to the bed and it plays again letting the diva know that her phone was ringing. Kaylee quickly puts a pillow over her head trying to block out the sound, unfortunately for the phone that didn’t work to well. She simply reached over on the table and threw the phone at the wall. Something she was doing quite a lot lately. Kaylee rolled back over and tried to go back to sleep only to fail miserably when her cell phone started to go off. She pushed the covers off of her and opened her cell phone not bothering to see who it was. Kaylee opened her mouth and started to talk.

Mom, why are you calling so early?

&Mrs. Adams&
Kaylee its three in the afternoon.

Your playing games aren’t you? Why would I sleep in so late. Wait don’t answer that. How much did I drink last night?

&Mrs. Adams&
That I don’t know Kaylee but I do know that when Eryhen went over there this morning the entire house was a disaster area. What happened? Eryhen wouldn’t tell me a thing.

Mom I don’t wanna talk about it. The past came back and bit me in the ass literally.

&Mrs. Adams&
Well you can tell me when you come to get the kids.

I thought Keith and Eryhen had them?

&Mrs. Adams&
Well your sister has been cleaning your house all morning along with that boyfriend of yours and your brother well he went to work.

I will come get them but I will not tell you what happened last thing I need is to hear I told you so's from you.

&Mrs. Adams&
Well that’s what mothers are for. What time should I expect you?

I should be over in thirty.

Kaylee hung up her cell phone and then went to sit up only to be met with a wave of nausea. Running into the bathroom quickly she barely makes it and watches as the contents of her stomach empty into the bowl. Kaylee presses the plunger and then washes her mouth out before taking an aspirin and heading down the stairs. She grabs her car keys and then a bottle of water before walking out into the garage and getting into her Escalade. Since she had Caleb, Kaylee needed the extra room so she spoiled herself and bought a 2009 edition fully loaded silver in color. Pressing the garage opener the door begins to open and Kaylee backs out slowly. Getting onto the street she presses the button again and then heads off towards her mothers brownstone in Boston. Arriving a little while later she enters the house and immediately her head starts to pound from the noise. She takes a step back out of the house and sits there for a few minutes before walking back inside and embracing the noise. Entering the living room she sees her children playing the game system that was bought for them and little Caleb sleeping soundly. She gave both Dhillon and Destiny a kiss before picking up her son and holding him tight. Kaylee walked into the kitchen and saw her mother on the phone. She had a seat on the other side of the table and waited for her mother to get off. As she did she looked at Kaylee with a stern look on her face starting to talk.

Kaylee I just got him down for sleep.

&Kaylee&
This is usually the time I spend with him.

&Mrs. Adams&
Well Kaylee he gave Eryhen quite a hard time last night. He wouldn’t stop crying.

Why didn’t she call me?

&Mrs. Adams&
Because she knew you were in no condition to even worry about it. Now why don’t you tell me what happened.

Mom I don’t have time its a long story.

Kaylee's mother nodded her head and then the two headed into the study where her mother kept the computer. Kaylee logged onto you tube and found the link of the promo. She showed her mother what to press before walking out of the room. She placed Caleb back in the crib and waited in the kitchen for her mother to come out. A little while later Kaylee hears some cursing coming from the other room and the door opening with her mother coming out. She comes back into the kitchen and pulls out a valium popping it into her mouth. Kaylee looks and listens as her mother starts to talk.

Who in the hell does he think he is? [Kaylee shrugs her head] Nobody talks about my baby girl like that. I swear Kaylee tell me how much it is and ill have him whacked. To think that little boy in there has to have that mother fucker for a father.

&Kaylee&
Mother please watch your mouth.

&Mrs. Adams&
Well its the honest to god truth. How dare he have the audacity to talk about stuff like that? How dare he claim that you wanted to kill your child. After all you did for him and he has the gall to pull this shit.

&Kaylee&
You know what mom its in the past I’m done with Chris McKenzie. He is dead as far as I am concerned and as for that little boy in there, He is innocent in all of this and I would like to keep it that way.

&Mrs. Adams&
Honey you have to do something you cant let him get away with this. You have to hurt him like he hurt you. Take Caleb from him? File for full custody.

Kaylee didn’t bother answering him she simply got to her feet and brought back her hand slapping Keith as hard as she could hurting herself in the process. She looked at him and started to talk.

Kaylee walked into the living room and helped the kids get on their jackets. She fitted Caleb into his little suit and then buckled him safely in his seat. Kaylee told them to say goodbye to grandma and they did before the little family headed out for the car. Getting everyone secure was tough but Dhillon managed to strap himself in and Kaylee helped Destiny before placing Caleb in and securing him. She pulled out of the parking spot and started the drive home. As they pulled into the driveway Kaylee noticed another car sitting there and wondered who it was. She looked back at the kids and noticed they were all asleep. Grabbing Caleb first she brought him over to the front door and was about to open it until someone did it for her. Looking up she noticed it was just Adam. She placed Caleb down on the doorstep and allowed him to envelope her in a hug. Breaking it she looked at him and started to talk

I used my Christmas present and let myself in where else would I be?

&Adam&

Without even answering he walked past her and over to the car to see that Dhillon was awake and out of his car seat but Destiny wasn’t. Adam fiddled with the strap and finally Dhillon showed him how to do it. He grabbed the little girl and then closed the door behind him walking both of them into the house. Dhillon quickly ran for his room and Adam dropped Destiny in her bed. He handed her the princess doll that Kaylee thought she destroyed and then walked out of the room closing the door behind him. He walked over to Dhillon’s room and found the little boy looking around. There was no saving this room as Kaylee did quite a number on it. Adam got down to Dhillon’s level and started to talk.

&Dhillon&
All my stuff is gone. What Happened Adam?

&Adam&
Honey I think its best your mommy tells you.

Did she get into a fight with Chris again?

&Adam&

Dhillon and Adam leave his room and walk into the living room finding Kaylee going through some stuff. Kaylee looks and sees that he has seen his room. She sits up and feels bad as Dhillon starts to talk.

What happened to my room?

&Kaylee&
I thought that you might want some new stuff.

&Dhillon&
I liked my old stuff. Can I have it back?

Dhillon Its not here. Adam said he will take you out and help you pick out whatever you want. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

Dhillon got up and looked at Kaylee before storming off the other way and kicking Adam in the shin before running into his room and closing the door. Kaylee heard little cries and knew that Destiny was awake and soon got up to tend to her children. She let out a huge sigh as she walked by Dhillon’s room and heard the little boy crying. Walking into Destiny’s room she got the little girl calmed down and put on a movie before walking out and into Dhillon’s room. She opened the door and saw him crying which broke her heart. Kaylee walked in and closed the door before having a seat on his bed. She pulled him on her lap and started to talk

Oh baby I’m so sorry.

&Dhillon&
What happened to all my stuff?

&Dhillon&
He wont come see Destiny Caleb and me anymore?

&Kaylee&
Not right now. You see Dhillon right now Chris is mad at me and I am mad at him.

What happened?

I told you Dhillon I cant tell you that right now. How about tomorrow if you still feel that you want to see Chris I will see if I can get Auntie Trish to take you to see him when we go to the show?

Kaylee placed him on the bed and then went out into the kitchen to prepare the dinner. She finished it fairly quickly and got the kids plates. Placing them on the table she calls around for them and they both come running. As the finish dinner Kaylee places the plates in the dishwasher before taking them both upstairs for their baths. Finishing rather quickly she gets them dressed for bed and into bed at a record time. Kaylee kisses them both and then turns on their nightlights before walking out down into the living room. Spotting Adam sitting there with his head leaned on the couch and his hands crossed on his chest. Kaylee sits next to him and starts to talk.

Adam I’m so sorry that Dhillon did what he did.

&Adam&
He’s 5. I understand he hasn’t gotten used to me yet.

&Kaylee&
Hun, I think its going to take longer then you think. He didn’t even like Phoenix when he came to see me Dhillon did the same thing. I swear in the short time I was with Chris Dhillon just grew attached to him.

It happens there isn’t nothing you can do. He’s just at that age where the unfamiliar is scary.

Kaylee takes in a deep breath and then pulls away looking at Adam who has a Cheshire cat smirk on his face. He stands up and then offers his hand for Kaylee. She accepts and follows him to the steps and then up them one by one. Not knowing where she is going Adam leads her down the hallway to her bedroom where the door was shut. It opens up and Adam leads her inside right past the bed and into the bathroom where it is dimly lit. There is a bath drawn over flowing with bubbled and rose petals thrown around the sides of the fixture. She looks at him and starts to talk.

Don’t let everyone know I don’t wanna ruin my reputation. Now you have a nice relaxing night I am going to head to the hotel and ill see you tomorrow.

Before Kaylee could say anything Adam placed a soft kiss to her temple and walked out of the room. Kaylee looked at everything and noticed a bottle of Champagne sitting by the tub in a bucket of ice. Laughing at it at first Kaylee decides to pour herself a glass before getting into the tub. Placing the full flute by the tub she went into the other room and got her white robe and placed it on the counter. Turning on the small stereo inside Kaylee turned it to the easy listening station before starting to Strip off her clothes placing them in the hamper Stepping into the hot liquid Kaylee let herself adjust to the temperature before grabbing her glass and drinking her champagne. She did this a few more times until finally she was out of the liquid in the glass. She refilled it and sank deeper into the tub continuing to let everything just slide right out of her system. Feeling relaxed Kaylee gets out and wraps the robe around her small frame before exiting out into the other room. Reaching inside her drawers she removes a pair of black boy shorts and a dark green T shirt. She places them over her small body and then walks over to the mirror. Kaylee removes her brush from her drawer and brushes out her blonde hair. The more she looks in the mirror the more she begins to feel more angry for what happened. She looks in the mirror and starts to talk to herself.

Come on Kaylee you need to keep it together. You have a family that you need to take care of. You have a company to run,. You have too much going for you to let some shit Chris McKenzie said about you effect you, let what Chris said have any importance. You can not show him any weakness because that’s what he want. He wants you to be weak he wants you to break down he wants to be the one to break you. You cant allow him to do that Kaylee, Use your brain. Push everything he said out of it. He only said that to get to you and it worked, he broke you down and made you feel all that pain. The time has come Kaylee for you to prove to everyone that your not weak. That your not a pushover. You get your chance Friday night on Fight Night. You get a chance to hurt Chris Physically as much as he hurt you emotionally. Once this is over you will never have to worry about Chris McKenzie again. Friday will be the beginning of the end as Chris put it but what exactly will it entail.
