Snow, the canal made Buffalo the western terminus, the second largest RR center in the U.S. (second only to Chicago) & the largest flour miller in the world.  The St. Lawrence Seaway & decades of Dem leadership has killed the city.  Now the third poorest in the country.

COMPARING THE ST LAWERENCE TO THE LOVE CANEL OH I MEAN ERIE CANAL IS LIKE COMPARING LAKE SUPERIOR TO A BACKYARD POND. YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE IT WIDER AND DEEPER AND FILLING IN THE ST LAWERENCE WITH THE DIRT.
