During the course of an old thread from the General Board, I made a recording
of the poem below [see: Message 11 on Link, Original post: 2/22/02, Last Reply: 3/3/02].
I am now taking this thread (click the Link) & posting it on our Sound Board,
along with an Invitation to join our
Poets' Radio Forum.

Please join in & listen to, &/or record, your Sound Poems at our new forum,
New Wave Sounds from The Poets' Place:
Poets' Radio Forum.

you howl like the windsong to me

you howl like the windsong to me,
i hear your icy breath call -
desolate snowcaps of barren lands
visiting with their cries.

when you climb the pole
facing into the northwind -
scandinavian, wolf-mouth
viking giants appear.

you howl like the windsong to me,
disconsolate separation -
sturm und drang und Vor
weaving the clouds.

happy Ramadan ding dong to you too, alan.
when the Ram's horn blows - you can eat again.

& just remember - two weeks from tonight: Full Moon.
