I've debated people on the DHA in the brain claim. The claim is that there is "rapid" DHA turnover in the brain, but this does not explain how my great grandparents could have lived so long, with no apparent loss of cognitive function, and yet had no source of omega 3s beyond the tiniest of trace amounts. My guess is that they had Mead acid in their brains.
