Keep in mind that it's the linoleic acid that your body makes into AA that you want to keep down in your diet. I don't think there is any food that has a huge amount of AA in it, unlike linoleic acid. Avoiding oils like corn, canola, soy, vegetable, safflower, sunflower, fish, etc. is the most important thing to do (and don't use lard either). Switch over to uncooked butter or coconut oil. Most of the fat in my diet comes from cheese and chocolate, with a small amount from coconut products. |
