This was a sweet, bittersweet, ironic, and sometimes comic movie with real-life twists and foibles of people falling in love, wanting to fall in love, and hoping to fall in love. It's not a treacly, happy-ever-after tale. It is enjoyable and made me laugh and even cry a bit.
The comical encounters between porn film body doubles chatting about traffic jams and other mundane topics while "posed" are amusing. The washed-up rock star is hilarious.
We plan to see it again.
