"Unmod" REDUX is a Community for jobseekers and the employed alike to share job search information, leads, resources, opinions, and more, while receiving moral support and sharing camaraderie, laughs, and irreverent banter and pix with fellow jobseekers, recruiters, and friends.  Peer-to-peer assistance is encouraged.

Feel free to post your resume for a critique in the appropriate section. BE SURE TO REMOVE ALL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, e.g., name, address, telephone number, names of companies, schools/universities, etc.  This is a public forum and any unscrupulous internet thug can capture this information and make your life miserable.

Peruse the pages and message boards in the NAV bar (left-hand column). If you need help, want to ask a job-related question, post a query, or just want to say 'hi', post a message on the 'General' board.

Please be aware that anyone of any age can read the posts without being a member. So we ask that you watch your language. Bawdy is okay; vulgar is not. It will be up to the discretion of the Managers and Assistant Managers as to whether any post is appropriate. 

This is a NO advertising/NO spam/NO get-rich-quick-scheme Community. Any such posts will be deleted and your membership will be forfeited. It is not appropriate to post another's real name, address, telephone number(s), etc., unless this person has already posted aforesaid information of his/her own volition.

Members have eclectic tastes so recipes and recipe requests are often posted.  You can post a favorite recipe or peruse the Recipe Collection, which lists the posted recipes by category.  There are also boards for Music, Books, and Movies but most of these discussions take place on the General Message Board.

And if you're feeling low or think that life or your job search is overwhelming you,    and you need a bit of inspiration, peruse the quotations in the "Insight to Remember" thread.  Post your own favorite quote.
