I looked around for an article that relates to this one (my, but I have a lot of questions lately), but I can't seem to find something like this.
If my first round interview is a phone interview with a rep from the HR firm the organization is using to weed through candidates, what should I be asking at that point? The firm is several hours from the actual location of the job, so I don't really know how much knowledge the firm has about the organization. The only question I can think of so far is that in the packet I received, there were a couple of small discrepancies between the descriptions (it was quasi-discussed in a couple of the inserts). I was going to ask for a little clarification. Beyond that, I'm a little stumped.
I really hope to get my act together this weekend and be done with my "Johnny Quest-like" behavior. I just want to be prepared and leave a good impression. I was shocked to hear that even out in cow country they had over 40 applicants (I did a little detective work and found that out through a friend of a family member who has connections to the organization). I had no idea there were that many communicators looking for work out here, let alone they all decided to apply for the same job.
Thanks once again,
Jayne
