2. Open in NY, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas (4 spots total).
3. Must have experience and track record in Infrastructure SW or applications.
4. Some sort of BI experience is a MUST.
5. Infrastructure SW is viewed as Data Base SW, Middleware or Applications such as Oracle, SAP or Peoplesoft..
6. Each sales rep matched with One SE.
7. Someone who has worked at both established companies as well as a start up.
8.Must be aggressive hands on person, someone who can make their own appointments, Hungry, willing to follow up on leads.
9. Current Reps are Farming not Hunting. Company has an aggressive marketing and lead generation group and current reps do not appear to be chasing them.
10. COMP:: $100k to $105k base. MBO's of 30K and ON TARGET EARNING of $230K. QUOTA is $1.2 million. Ramp up is 2 to 3 quarters and rep is paid by the deal from the first $$$$.
11. Would like to see people from a BI vendor such as Business Objects, Informatica, Hyperion, Information Builders, Microstrategy, Genalytics, Cognos, Targit, SQL Power Group, Insightful Corp, Hummingbird, Dimensional Insight, Clearforest.
12. Would like to see people from Middleware companies such as BEA, Transarc, DCE, TIB (Teknekron Information Bus), Citrix, Sybase, PrismTech etc.
13. New York position will focus toward Financials and or Big Pharma.
14. Atlanta person must know Telco
15.Midwest (Chicago) should know Consumer products.
16. Dallas should know Oil and Gas as well as other regional stuff.
