We are seeking full-time IT Project Manager candidates. The IT Project Manager will report directly to the CEO. The IT Project Manager will oversee a growing team of IT professionals including programmers, database administrators and graphic designers and oversee day-to-day web operations. We are seeking a visionary to manage our current technology, negotiate hosting options and design new and improved systems of service delivery to our clients.
The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for assessing project status to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well-defined and maintained. Manager will work directly with the CEO and clients to translate business needs and requirements into manageable technical objectives.
Requirements:
B.S. degree in computer science, information systems, business, or other related discipline
project management degree or certificate (i.e. PMI)
owns or is planning to purchase an IBM-compatible laptop computer (minimum 2.2GHz processor and 512MB RAM)
excellent project management skills including scope definition, organization of team members, work structuring and schedule development, quality planning, risk planning, communication, team management and issue resolution
knowledge and verifiable experience in standard Internet protocols: HTML, javascript, document object model and user interface and their best practices
strong understanding of database design principles
minimum of three years of Internet-based project management experience
experience in managing multiple IT projects such as portal and web database design and development while maintaining the ability to provide high quality user support
a solid understanding of the Windows (NT/2000/2003) environment, MS O/S, SQL, CFMX server software and a working knowledge of basic network environments including network services and hardware architecture
Essential skills include:
ability to analyze project requirements, draft project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules
ability to effectively manage project plans
ability to analyze and determine resources needed to execute a project
strong experience in project management tools: MS Project or equivalent
must have experience in formal project methodology and documentation
Knowledge in the following fields would be a plus:
Windows architecture best practices
Wintel network architecture best practices
call center and telephony software
