We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive.  If you know of anyone who would be interested, would you please pass this on to them?  We offer a pay-for-performance bonus, competitive salary, and generous benefits including a company 401K, and healthcare insurance.  We are seeking an experienced relationship building sales professional to sell direct marketing and internet marketing products and services to high profile advertising agencies and clients.  This position requires strong strategic experience in promotional and interactive marketing as well as an in-depth understanding of brand marketing.

We're looking for an experienced senior sales executive that will be responsible for spearheading specific advertising sales, with a focus on building new relationships, acquiring new clients, achieving and beating sales goals, and implementing creative sales strategies. We are looking for "Closers" with qualified contacts within the advertising community.


Job Requirements:

Candidates should have at least 5 years of advertising sales experience with a book of current ad business, and a proven track record of "above quota" performance. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to identify advertising sales prospects, manage sales relationships at clients and agencies, drive incremental revenues and renew advertising programs.  We're looking for "Closers" with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong negotiation skills with qualified contacts within advertising agencies and Fortune 1000 companies.


Job Description:

The position is comprised of both Sales and Strategic Consulting responsibilities.  The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for managing sales quotas and sales forecasts and meeting revenue and sales objectives through persistent outside sales efforts that gets them in the door to develop new opportunities. The position requires an opportunity management skills set including qualifying and acquiring new clients in a competitive sales environment. 

Responsibilities include developing target lists, making cold calls, setting appointments, meeting with clients, providing market strategy & expertise in a consultative selling environment, preparing proposals, sales presentations, plans, price quotes to support the client's strategic initiatives and closing the sale.

As a deal closer with a proven track record in new business development, the applicant possesses a polished corporate image that combines their outstanding verbal, written communication and presentations skills with a commitment to superb client services that results in a significantly high percentage of success.


Qualifications/Necessary Skills:

* Self motivated, aggressive and determined capacity to penetrate large corporate
   and agency accounts.
* Driven, energetic, persistent, enthusiastic, competitive, goal oriented with a strong
   work ethic and integrity.
* 5 years of sales/account management experience in advertising, marketing promotions
   agency and/or interactive marketing industry.
* Corporate marketing or marketing communications experience.
* Excellent writing and editorial skills (both creative and business writing).
* Experience in product marketing (i.e., a strong technical understanding) a plus.
* Strong skills in the areas of project management, vendor management, budget management,
   print and electronic production, and materials delivery.
* Professional demeanor, well organized, excellent communication, people and writing skills 
* Ability to consult with clients and solve a business problem with the application of our
   products or services.
* Ability to develop long-term customer relationships with senior-level managers. The ability
   to listen to our customers and help develop offerings that will best meet their needs is
   a critical part of this position.
* Leadership qualities in developing communications strategy, identifying areas of need,
   initiating and championing projects, marshalling resources (internal and external),
   obtaining buy in, and driving projects to successful completion.
* Ability to thrive in a demanding environment requiring high degree of deadline-driven 
   productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative and follow-through.
* Previous direct marketing and/or technology company experience A+.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, including ability to accurately gauge
   project duration, deliver on deadlines, and manage a high-volume workload of often-changing
   priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality product.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
* Thorough understanding of the sales process.
* Strong prospecting skills: Identify and differentiate both tactical and strategic
   sales opportunities.
* Highly organized with excellent telephone, prospecting & presentation skills.
* Strong cold calling skills at all management levels.
* Adept at making convincing presentations to corporate executives by telephone and in person.
* Superb interpersonal and relationship building skills.
* Working knowledge of HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Team oriented with a sense of humor.


Educational Requirements:

BA or BS in marketing or communications; MBA preferred.
