TW-965 Software Requirements Analyst - Staff - San Jose, CA Salary: BOE
A leading developer of industrial automation software needs a Requirements Analyst.
The Requirements Analyst is a member of the software product management team with the responsibility for translating business requirements into software functional specifications taking into account the customers real needs, the business case, the overall roadmap of the business, and the reality of the R&D teams' capability.
This role will require interfacing with the customer, domain experts, product management, and the product engineering team to develop a user interface design which may include prototyping, and writing, analyzing, and maintaining functional specifications.
The resulting functional specification will be fed directly into Program Management as the basis for project estimation and into R&D as the basis for the software requirements specification.
Requirements:
o. 10+ years experience in requirements engineering (gathering, developing and managing requirements) for complex business systems and writing the resultant software requirements specifications (Required) o. Experience modeling complex business processes and use cases using formal modeling languages (UML, others)
o. Excellent technical writing skills
o. Experience with User Interface design and development in a Windows environment
o. A degree Computer Science or Software Engineering (MS degree a plus)
o. Experience using Requirements Management tools (e.g. RequisitePro, DOORS, others) a plus
o. Experience in the biotech / life sciences industries a plus
o. Prior experience with cGMP, GCP FDA regulations a major plus
