My name is Don Baer and I am one of the managers here. Many years ago I was a regular on monster Job Seekers forum, as a matter of fact it was through monster that I got my present job. I am a salesprofessional and have been in sales for over 30 years. Presently I am a regional manager for a fortune 1000 company. In the past I have attended various professional courses such as the Karass "art of negotiations", "Strategic Selling" and various other skill building courses.

I used to visit the JSF forum and try to help job seekers as well as continue the relationships that I had formed while there as a job seeker. When the forum became a haven for certain individuals to build their already over inflated egos instead of helping job seekers I quit going there. I was invited to become a manager here and found it to be a place where I could continue my friendships formed and on occasion help others I jumped at the chance. I still visit monster and on the very rare occasion when someone asked for help I do what I can. Unfortunately those occasions are few and far between.

Some folks say that this forum is over moderated. All I can suggest is that you read some of the over 25,000 post on the forum and judge for yourself. Don’t take the word of other individuals who have been banned from this forum. The reasons why they were banned are numerous. As a matter of fact read what they have posted and you will get and idea as to why they were banned. They only came over here to build on their own agendas and contributed nothing.

Once again I welcome all who come here and look forward to gaining from the insight other sales professionals can lend to this forum. Let me assure you that you will find this a fun, entertaining and helpful place to visit.
