Hi I dont know if this is where to say hello for the first time but here I am LOL! Ive been at Walmart for 2 years, the store I work at is new just been open since November 2005. Ive been with them since before the store opened and helped set it up. Out of 500 some employees there is about 50 of us left who started when the store was being made. I work in the jewelry dept. |

Thanks for the site. Not new to ww , six years and running. We seem to have the same issues all over. I work with GREAT people. We run into a lot of bad rules. |

Thanks for the welcome. The jokes section of this website are great after a long day. Not to much to laugh at lately. Just stepped down from 5 years as a dept. manager. Joined the unloading team [team- hahaha]. Thought I could make a difference. Only see it in my paycheck. |

Hello. I've been working at Walmart for nearly a year, and have worked in Frozen, Grocery ICS, GM ICS, and the Meat Department. I'm hoping to become a Dept. Mgr. very soon, as I've been doing a lot of interviews. I work at the most recently renovated store in a town of 3 supercenters. |

Hi! I've been with wm for nearly three years since the store opened. I've checked out other sites, but this is by far the best. Just the right amount of good/bad!!!! I work at a smallish rural store that got started off on the way wrong foot.......so I'm sure I'll be asking for lots of advice and asking lots of questions. I'm an overnight instock supr., by way of toy MS, by way of o/n stalker. I mean stocker!!! |

Sorry, to hear things didnt' start off well for you. When i started with the company there was this person that i had to work with on a daily basis that i could not stand at all. I found out that another person i worked with in the same area also could not stand this person, even though most of the store liked the person because of the persons mom working there. So i made it my mission to outlast this person, and i did just that. Then i wanted to quit, but i decided i had to work for the store longer than he had. So just take it one day at a time, and do the best ya can. Don't let them get you down. If you need anything let me know. Your questions that you have are most welcome, and i think all of us here will be able to answer most of them. Thanks again. |

Hello, Nice to meet you.I have been reading your site for a bit now.Thought I would give it a try and join.I have been with Wal-Mart just about 8 years.Started as Floor associate ,then cashier, at this point I have been a CSM for 4 years.I do enjoy my job duties as a CSM, as with the rest of you I have just about had it with the company and their "new" rules and decisions.Kinda maddening, makes it harder to do your job.But I do try and be positive and at least I do have a job.Seems like your issues are a lot like ours.Well have a good day and Happy Easter |
