MEET THE MANAGERS

Managers:

TheKid007

I started working for Wal Mart in 2001 as an unloader/stockman, then moved to hardware where I was fill in dept. mgr. and sales clerk and also stockman, then moved to ICS/unloader/stockman, then when the new store was starting to be set up made dept. mgr. of hardware/support mgr/stockman/sales clerk/cashier, did that for about 6 weeks then closed the old store then went to the new store about a mile away, where I am still a support mgr. (which is just a title, not much more)/cart pusher, sales clerk in just about any dept. except ladies wear. Also grounds keeper, lot clean-up man, and sometimes return desk, but not too often.

MOMS

I've been with Wal-Mart six years now, starting as a temporary seasonal cashier and becoming permanent after Christmas. After 18 or so months, I moved to another dept. as a cashier and now as a department manager. I still help out up front as a CSM and cashier from time to time, but also do almost anything that is asked of me (except bathrooms). I have had a hand in working with new programs down from home office and a couple of convention set ups and store openings.

At home, I am very busy with three kids, two hyperactive cats and one spastic kitten. Soccer practice keeps me busy along with sewing and watching races on the weekends. Once in awhile I get online to catch up on things around the world or play a few games here and there.

Tasha

A former associate, I worked for Wal-Mart from January 1992 to February 2003. I suppose you could say that I made my rounds during my time with Wal-Mart. I initially went to work for Wal-Mart while in college, never dreaming that I would stay with the company for as long as I did. The positions I held while with Wal-Mart were as follows: Cashier, Electronics Associate, CSM, Line Monitor, Head CSM, Assistant Front-end Manager, Front-end Manager, In-store Loss Prevention, and District Internal Investigator...in that order. Whew! Did I really do all that?! LOL! I currently work as a 911 Operator/Dispatcher for the Sheriff's department in the neighboring county. I have one child, a son, who is currently in the military, stationed at Ft. Sheppard AFB. I have 3 cats...Sam and Gadget, my indoor felines, and Methuselah ('cuz he's so old), who wandered up a couple of months ago and decided to adopt me...lol.

I have been a supervisor at K-Mart and Krogers and worked retail (as cashier) most of my life (with a few factory jobs in between) and choose to continue to work in retail because I like working with people. When I started at Walmart 8 1/2 years ago, the last thing I wanted was a supervisor job. But in 2 months I was begged by the mgt team to be the Lead Csm. I took the job and have enjoyed it most of the time. I also cover Personnel and find that helping people, whether it be associates or customers is my niche in life.

I have only been a Wally Associate for 10 mths, our store has only been opennine months, its a huge state-of-the-art WM, I work as an instock/ICS
associate, but I am mainly in the dairy and frozen department. I have had a 32 yr career as a graphic designer, I worked part-time as a third key
manager for Rite Aide for 8yrs, then Rite Aide moved out of state, I stayed away from retail for about 5yrs, and I vouched to myself I would never do it
again, its to self sacraficing, but I ended up managing a Retail Print shopin NC, (a store somewhat like Kinkos), buying and selling printing, after 31/2 yrs doing this, I moved to FL, to have early retirement, but after
three years of being home I got bored and decided to go back in the work force, I ended up being a Lead Cashier, third key, for Dollar General for a
year, now I work for WM, in instock.
Kimberly

I started with Wal-Mart in Nov 1988 working in the UPC office. Back then I also worked in invoicing and in electronics. I took a position in the cash office in 1991 and have been in there ever since. I guess you could call me the dept mgr, even tho they removed that position supposedly, I still do all the work. I have a daughter in college and I'm very proud of her. I work at H&R Block during tax season, so feel free to ask me tax questions. I have three yorkies, and they are my babies. They follow me everywhere I go. I hope I can do a great job here.

Married, three wonderful kids....my sister lives in New Jersey. Hope to do a good job for all of you, on this site. Maybe we can all have a few laughs, thats if I can remember where I put it......my humor that is! Thanks for having me!

Happy New Year everyone!!! I have about 6 years retail experience with about 2 years of that in Wal-   Mart. I have worked in the Produce, Bakery and Electronics Departments, as well as the Front End. I also do some cashiering up front, when needed. I work at a Supercenter in a small town north of Tampa, Fla. I'm going to school for Business Management and I have plans of being an Assistant Manager for Wal-Mart one day. Everyday, I learn something new. It's awesome when I find out that we save our customers hundreds of dollars each year when they shop with us. Life's a challenge, so I enjoy everyday with my family at home, my family at the my friends' house and my family here and at the store. I enjoy playing football with my friends. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, feel free to e-mail me or any member of Management and we will do our best to help you.

Interested in becoming a manager of WWAssociates (Wally World Chat Room)? If so,then e-mail the Managers.
We need all the help we can get! Even though I hope there won't be any trouble on the website, I think we all know there are always a few out there that want to cause hard feelings and need to be kept in line. In the past, fellow members helped police the website and I hope that will be the same here, as well. Also by having extra help on the website, suggestions and concerns will be addressed in a more timely manner. So if you're interested in helping out then please e-mail us and we will get back with you A.S.A.P. Please don't get upset if you are not chosen, because as much as we would like to, we can't update all members statuses to Managers on the website.
