is rampant among management in my store...today they pulled my help from electronics when we were clearly slammed...didn't even give him time to tell anyone where he was going..leaving me and the connection guy..we were both slammed....we though this guy up and walked out because i kept calling management and csms to see if he was up there...i got locked out while trying to find him...i had to go up front and get him myself....everyone denied they knew where he was...but they knew....there is no respect anymore in our store...they treat us like crap...i found out why i got rode so hard last night....the assistant who was giving us grief ...it was because he got chewed out by our market for pulling from us when he wasn't supposed to....they had me in tears today when i clocked out for lunch....because no one can mind their own business i had to go out the door and around the corner of the building to vent on the phone to hubby |

Wow! I'm sorry Fallen! I remember that feeling...being slammed and no forthcomming help and wanting to scream! That's the main reason I quit...lack of respect and being used like a work horse till I had nothin' left and knowing that if I started to go down screaming I was gonna take the store down too! Lol! I figured I better quit before I got fired for the first time in my life. Funny thing, when I go to my old store and get any where near photo (my old job) I start getting that old stiff neck feeling again! Your not alone though hon was what I wanted to say.. |

Ol' grouchy has been reading all your posts. I can't believe what a bunch of grief you guys and gals have to take now. This is not the Walmart I knew for 15 years. At that time, Walmart took care of it's people. I had health issues and the attitude of management then was,"do what you need to do". No d-days, no problems to get approved for medical leave. Sick kid ? Take care of him or her. I don't like what Walmart has become. Don't get me wrong, the bottom line was always sacred, but people cared about people also. If you read some of my posts after I retired, I stated that, " Walmart has lost all respect for the individual". I thank that if people started treating people like people and not numbers, things would get a lot better. We went through hour cuts and short days but I never missed a pay check.Well, sorry to go on like this but I had to put my two cents in. All I can say is, "hang in there". Grouchy |
