First the other night a customer got on our PA system and cussed on it.

Now last night, some customer went into our back room, and set our back room on fire, just used a lighter and held it to some clothes and left. Damage was about 60k dollars!

They got a good picture of him on camera and it was on the news. I hope this guy gets caught!

The article I posted was from a few weeks ago that also happened in the Apparel Department. I don't know if it was Joseph's store or not, sorry, but here's the link anyways:

Joseph:  Holy Cow!!!  Unfortunately this could happen at our store, too...softlines is a mess in the back and customers still think the door to the back is the door to the restrooms!!!  We'll have to be that much more diligent...that would be a great excuse to cut down even more..and, what do you bet, that loss will affect your bonus...that is if you still get them!
(it shouldn't because WMT should have insurance to cover that type of loss...but.........  LS

oh and to top it all off,

this remodel was only supposed to take 60 days, or 8 weeks, or 2 months, however u wanna put it:P

Well, after screw up after screw up, our reopening went from mid august, to mid sept, to late nov, and then finally pushed up to oct 29th... so we got 1 more day to go till grand reopening!!!!!!

BUT!!!!!

WE're not done yet!!!!

We're going to have Nov and Dec with a break of remodel, then construction team comes back in January for anothe 12 weeks of relaying the tile AGAIN! That means, that all the counters will have to be moved again, new tile laid. Good grief!

Well, this is the first time i've heard of a store having a remodel lasting a year:P lol.

OMG--I thought my last remodel was bad, but yours is ridiculous!  We had terrible problems with the tiling too; it was a joke.  Had about  different crews do it. i wish they would close the store and let us do more of the work.  The folks they hire to do the work don't know what they're doing, or why they're doing it.  Just think how proud you would be, of doing your own remodel.  I'm not saying the W*M remodel folks aren't good (although they don't seem to be as good as they used to be).  I would much rather be a direct part of the remodel, than watch a bunch of newbies screw up my dept over and over.
