The culture of corruption and the abuse of corporate power are spinning out of control. Last month alone, Congressman Tom Delay (the former Majority Leader in the U.S. House), Senator Bill Frist (the Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate), and Scooter Libby (a former top aide to President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney), all were either investigated, indicted or arrested.

At the same time, billion dollar corporations like Wal-Mart used their special interest money to buy power and influence. Just last week, investigators exposed shocking new details about Wal-Mart’s sweetheart deal with the Bush administration over extensive child labor violations. It turns out that Wal-Mart’s own lawyers helped craft the deal. Wal-Mart won and America’s children suffered.

With all of this talk of corruption, we decided to ask a simple question -- who is the most corrupt in America?

Watch our new TV ad to find out:

http://www.wakeupwalmart.com/video/corrupt.html

In the last few weeks, you have helped us grow into the largest, most powerful grassroots campaign to change a corporation in history. More than 125,000 Americans have joined our movement to change Wal-Mart and build a better America.

What is Wal-Mart’s response to the growing public pressure? They hired a high-priced team of image consultants led by the same person who helped the tobacco companies try to convince us smoking doesn’t cause cancer. Does Wal-Mart really think the American people will be fooled when he tells us Wal-Mart is good for America?

We can change Wal-Mart. We can stand up to corporate greed. We can bring back morality in corporate America. We can build a better America.

But, it starts with YOU!

Only you have the power to change Wal-Mart. Support our efforts to change Wal-Mart, contribute today:

https://www.wakeupwalmart.com/contribute/

Every dollar you give goes directly to putting this TV ad on the airwaves so the American people can learn the truth about Wal-Mart’s moral corruption.

You are changing Wal-Mart. Your movement is gaining momentum. Next week, we, along with our coalition partners, will be launching an unprecedented week of action all across America to highlight why Wal-Mart needs to change.

Thank you for all that you do.

Paul Blank

P.S. Please forward the ad on to your friends and sign up at least 5 people this week to join our campaign.
