I think i addressed this concern in part under another topic today, but I will do my best to try and answer your question/concerns.

Union Works, is not my website. The website is ran by Ray. Long before i ever created this new website Ray updated my status on the Union Works site to help in getting pictures on his Welcome page, creating pages, etc. Just mainly to help in helping keep the site upkeep, and to help manage the site. I do not own that website and am an assistant only one his site, not a manager/creator.

Ray is a manager on this website. I will be happy to address why i picked him to help me run the site. Ray asked me to help him on his site, BUT IT IS NOT why he helps run this site. Over time on Union Works and on the old wwassociates website i got to know Ray on and off the site, and became very good friends. When i created this new site i knew that i would need help, because i can't always be around on the site, and because Ray has always been there for me, i asked him if he would help me again by stepping up and taking a manager position on the site. He was willing to help me and i appreciate that a lot.

Paid to recruite for the union??? If i was i would not have the site on a msn group. I would move the site a location that i know would be safe. Meaning that if msn every decides to close all the groups, that wouldn't be a problem if the site was located somewhere else. I did ask the UFCW if they would pay for the site to relocate, but they told me that they primarily wanted to promote a website that walmar pro-union, instead of one that spoke the minds of the positive side of walmart. Al Zack (former member of Strategic Dept.) disagreed with them, but he ultimately did not hold the decission making power to overrule them. They did offer after her pressured them to donate a one time donation if i moved the website, but i choose not to.
The UFCW cannot mandate anything on this site. I suppose they could say he stop slandering here and there, or we will pull the disclaimer, but that is as much as they can do. They can only remove the disclaimer and i would have to abide by that, but they can't run this website. Just as i cannot mandate they take your legal case. There have been members who have e-mailed me over time (many members) that have demanded that i force there hand to take a legal case for someone, but i cannot do that. I can only call the UFCW and e-mail them, the same as anyone else, but have no say just as they do not.

Do i get paid??? Ummm.......no, it would be nice, LOL! I also am not someone who is employed by a union to get hired at a company to get the workers to ask for a union. To be honest, at one time i had thought about it, but the pay and the moving around i would have to do was not worth it.

Noairman----LOL, that would be good pay. more than some people make starting off., but i dont' make that amount. I did when i was a trainee/salary.

Bummer, doesn't seem right i agree. While the money is something to hang on, it still feels like a slap in the face at times. Think we all have been there. Hang in there!
