This is what the assistant who decided who got it told me. Because of my high standards I mean hey I get exceeds on my eval and I take alot of pride in my work. She told me that with my attitude I was not moving to any other departments. I am overnight stocker in produce. See overnight deli would have been a move up. Produce stocker is a 4 deli is a 5 plus there would have been a 30 cents raise. The reason I want out of the produce department is because of the low standards that everyone else has for it. Basically I am being told that I need to learn how to not care. I am not sure that I can do that. Like I said I take pride in my work and I strive to do it right. I am just so frustrated in what others are not doing. It feels like I am the only one doing any stocking of the produce department at all.

perhaps it is time to seek out a place of employ that would appreciate the high standards you obviously have....very least i would use the open door to go to the sm and talk to him...the sm should have the final say who goes where...

After I giving 100% all those years and going the extra mile whereever I could--helping others, keeping my dept completely orgainzed, being on time 100%--and seeing promotions go to others that do none of that, I realized I was not what this company was looking for. And I did what Kelly is suggesting, went out and found a place that likes people with high standards who take pride in their work.
