maybe i just took it wrong, but i think it was terribly wrong of our store manager to say (in front of other associates) 'it really just kills us when joe isn't here'. like he's the only one that does anything when the truth is he talks a good game but isn't a real hard worker. joe took freezer stocker so that no one would be able to watch how much/little he actually does.
No. this guy is a suck up beyond all suck ups. shows up during lunch breaks on his day off 'just in case'. He told 2nd shift NOT to downstack groceries because they didn't do it to suit him and if he had to do it, it meant that much less time he might have to stock. He always LOOKS busy, but rarely accomplishes anything.
One of those can make himself look busy doing a whole lotta nothin'. Have had more than a few of those at my store. Sad how some of us can bust our buts but never quite shine like a slacker does.
I have heard managers do that, and i have a store mgr. who say i can't say who but someone that works in crafts is going to be coached before the end of bussiness today for ................... Then everyone of course can narrow it down between a couple of people and knows who the person is. Very wrong.
Lies.......I have to say our SM is a very professional manager...but we have some asst that are like kids on a playground telling everything they know...the asst over apparel now ..has to be the worst at it ...he is so full of hisself...he talks to assicoate about the DM's and other assicoates.....he has his little sneaks ..that he has went so far as to give them his cell and home number....
