Just run down... very sad right now. I'd rather be sad on here than at work - I remain very happy and perky at work despite everything as that is something very important to me to convey to the associates, but lately I come home just so absolutely exhausted and tired..
Tired of doing my job with no support from certain managers... paperwork not filled out properly.. no support for CMN or community involvement.. our store goal for CMN this year is $48,000 (the store did $45,000 last year) and we are at $5,100 :( *tear for the children* Tired of no one wanting to head up the icons for the cashiers and helping them learn to sell them - just one quick question, the customer says no, continue with transaction...tired of no one wanting to assist in any sort of CMN efforts in the store for customers or associates.. tired of people asking if they need to raise money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk - why wouldn't you want to at least try and get some sort of donation from someone outside the store? $1 $2 $10, ANYTHING!!! Tired of doing community involvement, orientations, reference checks, making phone calls for people, fielding "I want to check on my application" phone calls that should go to management, PSP that I'm supposed to be store captain of but cannot get up and going for the life of me, various projects from management, working with silly silly accident claims... one person claims repetitive motion, and 10 more come in claiming the same thing :( (not to say that it can't happen, but it's been domino effect lately)...tired of being on the Customer Must Win Initiative committee and the people expecting 2 of us to do everything.... tired of certain associates who have no understanding and no patience (thank goodness there are not many and most of the associates are sooo understanding that there are other things going on) - It must be done/researched/addressed by YOU now!!!... tired of cleaning the breakroom and the fridges once a week and having people yell and moan and scream because they chose not to read the neon orange LOOK sign and sign below that states when the fridges will be cleaned and what will be thrown out (no name/date, open pop cans, outdated/moldy food, etc.... just all around tired :(
Don't get me wrong.. I love my job. I couldn't do this if I didn't have the fantastic personnel manager working with me. I am one of the most bleed Walmart blue people ever, but lately it's just been so disheartening, and as stated earlier I'd rather put it here than have these feelings at work. Thanks for 'listening.' |

Just lucky I guess. We can't get a lot of people in the store to take care of the breakroom and can't get anyone to consistently help out and clean it, so we end up doing it. |

sounds like you need a hug and a vacation. sorry to hear you have the job of cleaning out the fridges people know what the rules are but they just don't seem to go by them. don't feel bad if you have to throw things out the rules are right there. some tend to think they can use the fridges as their own personel fridges. hang in there |
