Well some kind of illness has been running thru the store. My DM was out Mon & Tues with it...came back still kinda sick yesterday. The SM has been feeling sick all week...and still working every day. We have had a cashier out for two 1/2 days with it....which means I am running register from 7:30-9 when the next L&G cashier comes in. {since I am currently training myself on register I don't mind most of the time...learning a lot this way I guess}

So I wake up this morning with a sore throat...and kinda sick to my stomach. Nothing much, but considering several of the associates who have been/are sick complained about the sore throat first...it's a good sign I have probably picked it up too. I missed two days last month b/c my daughter was ill...and I got it. Now I am worrying I will get this too...and I can NOT miss work. So I will continue to work even if I get sicker...and probably pass the germs on to other people even tho I am constantly washing my hands or putting Purell stuff on...especially when I am on register.

If the store manager is working sick day after day...and people are coming back to work sick b/c they are afraid of getting coached...why are they surprised when more people get sick and we have even less people working?
