(This is gonna be kinda to the point?and I feel that’s probably the way it should be. As I’m sure a lot of you know?sometimes, simple is just better.

We draw through the darkness?and reveal something we haven’t really seen in a few weeks: the faceplate of the W2K Championship Belt. As the light shimmers against it, we pull back?and back?and back.

And there he is. Ryan Cain wears his belt over his shoulder?and stares into the lens of the camera.)

Ryan: You look surprised. Well?I assume you look surprised, anyway. I really had a feeling a lot of people around here, around the fifth or sixth consecutive day that no one had heard from me, would just accept the idea that I wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon. As so many people have apparently concluded, I kind of have a knack for disappearing from pretty important positions at the least opportune times. What position around here is more important than that of the W2K Champion? And at what time is it less opportune to bail than when the company seems to be struggling to maintain activity? I guess I can understand why some people may think of me in that light ?the same reason I’ve never caught any kind of break for anything I’ve done, despite the industry’s seeming endlessly forgiving nature for everyone else ?but it doesn’t really mean anything. Yeah, I haven’t been heard from in a while, but that doesn’t mean I’m not coming back. That doesn’t mean that, right this second, I couldn’t own the crap out of anyone on W2K’s Roster. And it sure as hell doesn’t mean that I can’t successfully defend my W2K Championship Belt against anyone that might aspire to take it away from me. What it means?is that I just needed a little vacation. I just wanted a couple weeks to myself?to gather my thoughts?and to make a few things right. I’m pretty sure we all find ourselves in spots like that from time to time throughout life, but I already know that won’t matter in the eyes of a lot of douchebags around here, and I can’t wait to here the “Ryan Cena, we don’t need you?talk, as clever as that whole spiel is. But getting to the point?I’m here?and I’m ready to get going all over again. This may have been a quick appearance, but I just wanted to make sure no one had forgotten who’s on top of this place. You’ll hear from me again real soon. And I hope against hope that someone decides it’s his place to go ahead and start firing shots at me right now. I haven’t shredded anyone in a few weeks.
