Since the Front Office's decision to nix stats... - I've enjoyed shows more, because I like to see what direction I'll be going, and no one turned in strats anyway. Shows flow better now. - I've enjoyed shows less, even though I never turned ins trats anyways. - I've decided to wait a while before I decide whether or not I miss doing strats. |

I've enjoyed shows less, even though I 'randomly' turned in strats anyways. |

- Torn between the two. I enjoy the shows -- But wish strats was still an option. I liked the freedom of turning in strats -- But speaking as a fed-owner I know how irritating it can get either waiting for someone to turn in strats, or having someone say they were gonna do it and don't. |

- I've enjoyed the show the same. Wait.. show? I don't watch the show. Though I do like it better when people send in their own strats personally. To me the show is not the life blood of a federation, the RPs are. If someone is serious about pushing themselves they will send in strats to further a SL on the show itself. Besides, most people who work on an SL together have already talked about it in IM or through emails and there have been times where I've thought of an idea and just used someone's character, most are cool with it when it's for the SL. I'm not a big fan of MGT doing all the work cause honestly, that's asking a lot and that alongside full results every week = a pending burnout. Problem is people get lazy... but really, that's no excuse. If you claim you got nothing to RP about and then don't send in strats, clearly you don't want to take part in the fed. When I want to push myself, I can push myself on my own. If people don't send in strats, so what? It's not like there's a certain number needed for a show to be 'full', it just doesn't matter. The worst thing is when you spend your time writing something cool for people not even involved with you and they end up not RPing about it or playing off of it. I don't like to waste my time and so, I don't. At least if they don't do anything, it's no sweat off your back. Sometimes it's necessary, but too much makes it seem more WWEish and frankly that's just boring. Pitching ideas is awesome and occasionally writing in something because you've got a great idea in mind but you need to write it so it works out the way you want to is cool as well, and most would agree. Beyond that? You're doing too much work for free. |
