Carlito takes shots at HHH, Stephanie, and WWE in general

At a press conference today to promote WWE's 7/2 RAW show in Santiago, Chile, Carlito went off on Triple H and his marriage to Stephanie McMahon.

"I may get in trouble, but that's why I'm here. My opinion is that it was a smart move by [HHH]. I think that's why he's champion now and has been champion in the past, it's easier to him. We, the real wrestlers, don't depend on people in the business. We don't have that benefit. We have to deliver the maximum in the ring. Others are given championships in a plate of gold or platinum, I'm happy for him."

Carlito also said that he had been discriminated against in WWE because he is Latin and took another shot at Triple H for never going overseas to promote shows.

If he didn't blow it then why'd WWE say he did?

Cold hard fact my friend. Cold hard fact. RVD couldn't keep it together.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that's why discussions like this last so long, cuz everyone keeps trying to prove their point. I'm not doubting that Trips can cut a promo that makes Rock look like Cody Rhodes, but there's also no denying that Rocky is one of the most entertaining men in wrestling outside of the ring. Me, personally, I think that the Cactus Jack promos in ECW that he did with Raven were the best I'd ever seen. If you have a guy who can keep up with Raven not only in the vocabulary, but in the terms of tying it all together with the issue at hand.... wow. Raven doesn't get as much credit as he deserved for the quality promos he did. I still think a long standing Undertaker/Raven rivalry would've been bad ass. The man everyone loves against the man everyone loves to hate. Doesn't get much better than that. But I've drifted severely off topic, so uhhh.... yeah, Triple H.

I think the problem with Raven wasn't that he's overrated, but because he was caught giving Shane cocaine when he was a teen. It's legend/rumor anyway and one of the reasons Vince hates him (according to legend).

Like, Vince hates Macho because it's rumored he took Steph's virginity, also as a teen.

But I dunno for sure.

Actually? I was the one who took Steph's virginity... that's why I don't have a WWE contract right now.

Hey X-Man I'm sorry if I gave ya the feeling that this was gonna be an arguement or anything. My apologies there. I just feel that Rock was hypocritical with that speech. I mean how are you going to blast one guy for doing something and then pull the same stuff a month or two later? That's one of the bigger issues I have with Rock. And also do feel that he turned his back on wrestling. Ya know he started getting big in Hollywood and soon he can't make appearances, just appearances for WWE. I mean his excuse for not showing up at teh Raw 15th Anniversary was because he was on public vacation. But what would it have hurt for him to just show up? See that's my problem with him. He seems to act like he's too good to give back now to the business that made it possible for him to have his current career.

RVD? He deserved what he got. Weed may not be as bad as some drugs, but its illegal. And if you're dumb enough ta smoke something illegala nd then go driving you deserve to get caught and then take the punishment. It woulda happened in any other sport too.

ESPECIALLY at a time when WWE is cracking down. RVD was an idiot, plain and simple.

if RVD didn't smoke it in his car and get pulled over by the cops, then he wouldn't have lost the title so soon. but because of his dumb decision, look what happened.

RVD smoking pot was NOT a big shock. For the love of God, everyone knows RVD was one of the most common users of weed, I bet even WWE knew it. But he didn't get caught. That's Rob's only problem. He got caught. If he wasn't speeding, he would have been fine, and RVD might still be in the WWE today, main eventing. If he wanted to, Van Dam could go any wrestling organization he wants and still get 99% of the fans on his side. So what Van Dam fucked up? The fact that Vince let him run with the ball is enough to prove Van Dam is the shit. Sure, Vince might not be so willing to hand him title shots, but I'll be damnd if Rob wouldn't be one the top stars just by showing up.

RVD in WWE isn't worth it, really. It's not the same when you've seen him in ECW.

Back on topic again...

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE TRIPLE H!

I'd have ten of his babies............ shit, I'd have kittens if he wanted me to.

Actually, that wasn't "exactly" on-topic. But I just thought I'd share that with ya. I even love his big ol bazooka nose. Damn right.

PS: I hate Sef.

I will completely agree with that Nic .. WWE RVD was like RVD-lite
Does anyone remember RVD's first match in the WWE? Vs. Jeff Hardy at Invasion? First match in the E and the crowd was already chanting his intials .. best match of the night too.

Yeah I mean RVD didn't suck. It just wasn't the same. And he's a smart guy- he left cuz he was unhappy instead of forcing himself to go on hating the product. I can respect that, he turned away from alot of money and not many people can do that. Christian did, too.
