Ðìçê

-all ones have to do with the person him/herself, also via, travel and loneliness.

-all twos have to do with partnerships, friends or matters of the heart.

-all threes have to do with love, family and communication.

-all fours have to do with work, co-workers and structure.

-all fives have to do with finance.

-all sixes are very lucky and show favorable outcomes.

These also work for dominoes with the addition of the blank ones that foretell negative things i.e. blank/four would foretell financial trouble and the doubles have extra significance, blank/blank-worst luck, be careful in everything. One/one-a journey. Two/two-you will meet a new best friend, three/three-you will fall in love, four/four-a new job opportunity, five/five-you will acquire unexpected money, six/six-the best of all

To divine using the dice (known as astragalomancy) a circle is drawn about 12" wide and the dice are thrown within circle, any that fall outside the circle are not counted, if all the dice fall outside this foretells quarrels and the dice are not read that day.

I will now give the methods for using 1,2 or 3 dice.

Method for using a single die

Using the below chart, toss a die onto the circle and interpret as follows.

1-generally favorable, bear the overall prediction in mind

2-success depends on friends

3-excellent omen for success

4-disappointment and trouble

5-good intentions

6-uncertainty

A-next year

B-money

C-travel

D-domestics

E-present

F-health

G-love and marriage

H-legal matters

I-your present state of mind

J-work and career

K-friends and social

L-enemies and limitations

Method for using two dice

Using the same chart toss two dice in the circle, any that fall out are disregarded, total the pips on each die and use this key.

1-yes

2-no

3-take care

4-be wise

5-good luck

6-of course

7-have faith

8-be patient

9-certainly

10-doubtful

11-nonsence

12-a chance

Method for using 3 dice

If 1 die falls from circle, your plans may go wrong,

if 2,this foretells trouble.

1-sadness

2-a friend will become dear

3-a surprise or unexpected news

4-unpleasentness

5-your wish will come true in an unexpected way

6-loss in finances

7-scandal, gossip

8-victim of injustice

9-lucky for love

10-prediction of birth, domestic happiness, business success

11-a parting, illness

12-good news from a letter

13-grief and sorrow

14-a friend will help you, or you will meet a new admirer

15-temptation

16-travel with good omens

17-a change of plan

18-great luck, the best omens

These meanings are pretty "tongue in cheek" and should never be taken as absolutely true, personally I use three dice. One white that I use as a way to focus on the theme of my reading, a green one I use as the positive influences and a red die I use as the negative influence. I read each die separately, using the basic meanings at the start of this page, keeping in mind the color and where it falls on the chart above, then I tally the pips to get an overview and possible outcome.
