Y'all are makin' me saaad.

It is such a pain to get to the internet here, I may not post again before returning home. Going to play it by ear. Our gig is coming up and my 'playtime' is about over. Fun while it briefly lasted. Y'all be good now.

Thanks Coot. Still a rocky road, but I think I see a stretch ahead that isn't so rocky.

Gryph, FMH just moved, and there are Aimoo differences. I too am learning the navication, which is different. But I think it is the better option. Since MSN recommended Multiply, that is an immediatel strike against it for me.

Trust MSN? Fat chance.

Well, if things could get worse, they did. The Conservatory asked me to take a sabbatical, because they are concerned about my mental state and liability. That is their solution to my stress. Take away the little I have to hold onto.

Pikes, I've a guest room available if you want to come hang out in the Ozarks for a bit....   I have a dog that sheds more than any creature I ever encountered, and I'm not the best housekeeper, but if you can stand the drifts of dog-hair that tend to build up in the corners (not in the guest room where he is forbidden,) you are more than welcome to hang out for a while.  I can keep you fed and entertained (I'll let you use my DSL connection whenever you need it, and I have sattelite TV,) but will mostly just let you be.....   Also, check your AOL email.....

As for creating a new Cafe over on Aimoo.....  Sorry, folks, it will take somebody with more than half a brain left to accomplish that task.....

Pikes...I left you a message on USA over there...basically, you're loved...don't ever forget that.

On a more daily note, will Xer be back in time to move us?????  I hope so!  If not, I can open a group and get this moved just in case.  If you know anything, pass on the info..xx

Don't we have at least until Feb 1st? I thought it was Feb 28th, but prefer to err on the side of caution. If it is sooner than Feb 1st, someone please let me know? Our performance was last night, recorded by BBC, and broadcast live locally. Tonight it will be broadcast here nationally... for better or worse <gleep!> We are beginning to wrap things up. Tonight we have a party to attend in our honor at a friends house. After that it's just killing time until our Delhi flight tomorrow night. We'll only be in New Delhi a couple of days before catching the plane to Paris, and haven't a terribly long layover there (five hours I think?). So y'all hold on now, K? Xer's a'comin.' Soon as we make the move to Aimoo I will dismantle this cafe. Don't want to leave anything behind for Bill to cash in on after we're gone.

Pikes, take the sabbatical. Wish to heck someone would offer me money to not work! Seriously, a sabbatical will allow you time to work on something you would really love to create, but never have time for otherwise? Personally, I've already been very close to death too many times in this life as it is. Forever is a long time, my friend, and offers no options. Best to stay with us as long as possible. To hell with the witch, man, your kids would miss you. That must mean more to you than the fact we would miss the hell out of you also? Not saying that's a bad thing, but you should know, in very real life terms, we are your friends and would hate to lose your continued companionship, not to mention your wicked humor. You know what they say, it's always darkest before it gets darker still? <wink, wink> Not to worry, we can all huddle in the dark together holding hands and singing Kumbaya. <BigWideGrin>

It's hard to soar with the eagles when you're surrounded by turkeys, but we got yer six, buddy, so hang in there.

Kitty, hope that knee therapy is working out well. Our colds are slowly going away. Hope it's completely gone by time we get home. Thanks for the complement. Coming from a master log keeper like yourself, it is high praise!

.....my toes?

Gryph, Never, Xer, thank you for your kindness, offer, suggestions, and prayers. Who ever says friendships over the next aren't real fools himself.

My time away is not paid, so I will need to do something else. A total change of pace from teaching, as I see it.

I am in counseling, to help me understand and shed these burdens and demons that have bothered me for a while now, and just recently piled up to the point where they affect judgement, and health. Gryph, when my "house" is in order, you can expect a knock at the door. But NOT while I am not on my two feet!

=================

Now as for the move, we are not Mozarts, and in spite of my clouded and faulty judgement, even I can see procrastination to the last minute is unwise. For one thing, there are members who post with such infrequency, that they could be dropped entirely, without meaning, if the house is moved in one day, or even in one week.

Jen, can we not set up the cafe at Aimoo, and simply put xer in charge when he gets back, and gets there? If we can do that, I would recommend it.

Well done, Number One!
Will you inform Commander Data that The Enterprise will be underway, as soon as he is back on board?
