I was getting ready to go to the store and started out, opened the garage doors and theres over an in of snow already just in the past 15 mns and its hugh flakes never seen that big before and looks like a blizzard its beautiful everywhere but dont like it after it is there a little while lol. I just hope we dont get what they think we are going to get .Already calling schools outages on TV and one of our schools got its roof ripped off in the storm the other night so having to double kids in three of the other high schools and 2 of the elementrys already crowed but glad they can work them in maybe they will take the teachers to help out.They are using our audatoriums for classrooms and gym areas for them. Thats all we need is the ice on this ...omg that means KIDS HOME lol until this is over .. Hugs, Joy |

OMG........NO! Don't keep the kids home!!! Thats a snow make up day!!! That means, I'd have to work extra before summer vacation!!! Keep warm Joy! |

yes Joy...you are getting the storm we had last night...and the storm before that had already gone thru here, too...they were hugh flakes the size of quarters...and it wasnt falling long before it was deeper...Houston was at a standstill this morning from all of the overpasses and bridges being frozen over adn causing loads of accidents...one was a major fatality...they dont know how to drive in this crap...and the police had to close down major freeways right at rush hour in Houston...it took people hours to get to work...please stay safe and dont go anywhere if you dont have to...hugs, Candy |

Candy our weather here has been weird for a couple years or more now not normal weather for here at all for sure and I hate it ...especially these stroms that are unknowing how bad or what they are going to demolish or hurt bad or kill we have lost alot of things here that weather has torn away from us and unnormal.Makes you wonder if its true whats being told about this Global warming and they tell us not to worry alska is losing homes everyday to the sea where when they built it they though it was on land and now their homes gorund is melting right out from under them...I think it has a lot to do with the changes in atmosphere and changing of the sea beds the fault lines on the bed of the sea causing our currents to chnage and causing change in weather .. |

yep time to stay real toasty Joy...yes the weather is changing bad every year...time for us to quit pissing off Mother Nature...and we do it anyway...one day we may learn...these scientists are tryint to find out how to stop hurricanes...well stop the cutting down of raiforests and such and this type of thing will stop...sheesh...cant change the atmosphere as much as we are and get away totally free and clear...we are doing it to ourselves and everyone around us...stay warm and toasty inside... We have a concrete man coming by to look at the area we need a concrete slab put into today to give us a price...we were going to try putting the shop on piers, and have thought better of it since we will be killing ourselves trying to get enough piers to be able to rebuild the building...we have to get this done so that he can get his woodworking tools in the dry...cant start anything else until we can get that done as cant move in that building now and its not safe to work in there anyway...we shall see if we can get it done this way now...shame that you cant get contractors to call ya back or give a price...sheesh...hugs, Candy |
