Yes...... I've had bigger kids sit next to younger kids (their siblings no less!) and if I had any problems with the younger kid acting up, the older one was to Squish the younger one like a BUG! Not a pancake........gezzzzzzzz......

 

I wanta hear that kid pop! like a bug!

 

 

I've never ever had any reason for an older student to squish a younger student until they popped.........but, man it sure sounds good to tell the little ones to make them mind!

OMG...... can I have a gun to guard 'em with??????? please????

Gezzzzzzz....... that'd be no fun.... kind of like my boss....... he refused to allow me to carry duct tape on the bus..........guess he figured out how I planned on using that tape.........

 

Ok, time for Sugar to step outta the building now and go drive the big yellow bus.. she's going to go deliver those little darlings home safe and sound from school to the patiently waiting dotting parents........ so they can sit in front of the tv and learn how to distroy something tomorrow........

well sugar dearie.....you have said you have driven the short bus but my question is were you a passenger of it before they promoted you to driving the bus??? lol from all that i have read here you definitely should be a bonaaaaaaaa fideeeee passenger

Well Tess....... as a matter of fact...... I was a passenger on the short bus.......but, as an adult watchin over 16 little special needs students....... I got to play with them, read books and sing songs.....

 

When the boss was interviewing me for the job as bus aid..... he asked a really stupid question.....

 

What makes you think your the best person for this job.....

 

My answer? "Well, duh! I never grew up, so I have lots in common with these kids!"

 

I was hired on the spot.......

 

I really miss working with those students.... they where just babies really.....from 3 yrs to 5..... all with different special needs.....

 

I got my license to drive a bus because I had a driver that kept us late in the afternoons........ and forced the boss into training me.......

 

My favorite song? "The Wheels On the bus go Round and Round"

 

 

awwwwwwww sugar i know exactly how you feel....several several year back i volunteered at the school with kids like you are referring to and also with their special olympics that is held here the pure unadulterated love these kids shows ya will take your breath away and leave you with a feeling you can't explain. as far as my question i was mainly just stirring the pail a lil bit and having some fun with ya not knowing that i was stepping into an area i wasn't posed to like this thread lol....i was told this is yours and candy's thread alone but sadly to say no one informed me of this until AFTER i had posted...so i will back myself out of this door with apologies and say ciao ....see ya both in the other threads!!!!

Yes, those babies are soooooo full of love...... I have my special students now, but those first ones I started with will always hold a big place in my heart......

 

As for me wearin a helmet while I drive..........

 

Do you have any idea what those kids are throwin at ya back there??????? HELLO? I wear it for protection!
