hoping not to confuse anyone
but you can change the word art color as it is displayed here
when adding a drop shadow check on new layer
use what ever color you want say ok and then x out the black one
voila you have it in the color you want
this one was in black too I just used the cream color as a shadow on new layer and then Xed out the original
