MY LOSS

I know the words your brother spoke
I heard what he had said
I understood and had suspected it
~~~
When it came i didn't want to hear
My being just said noooooooooooo
~~~
You've left us now
for a better place
I understand and hope
someday we will meet
on the other side
but for now
i'll just have to cope
~~~
Your in my heart
and there you'll stay
forever and a day
Peggy
THE THREAD  THAT BINDS
There within the shadows
awaits a friend for me,
colours are muted in the
dark corridors we walk.
But, there is no fear
when approaching friendship.
Good fortune is in knowing
that it is still growing,
and that life is not the
only thread which binds.
REST IN PEACE,  DEAR FRIEND  x
WHERE WILL I BE
When I am gone
Will you know where to find me?
Perhaps in a gentle breeze,
That rustles in all the trees.
Or in a place where the river flows,
High in a place where it snows.
In a place where the eagle lands,
Where the wind blows the desert sands.
In the pastures that are forever green
 To places where the eye has never seen.
Look to the stars that shine at night,
Also in the morning when the sun shines bright.
But most of all you might find me where,
Each word and letter I placed with care.
  I am in every line that I ever wrote.
~~~

I wrote this some time ago, but I think this is how

Steve might want to be remembered

I'm not ashamed to say I post this with tears in my eyes.

For Steve from Emma (foretfleur)

Bluebird

there’s a bluebird in my heart that
wants to get out
but I’m too tough for him,
I say, stay in there, I’m not going
to let anybody see
you.

Emma's Words

Tonight, I shall drink a little too much wine
Read a book, where I won't read the words
And just think and remember and cry.

But I will smile again, I promise
I will climb those mountains again
Its just that the peaks are so much higher
Now that you are no longer here.

God Bless you Steve, forever in my heart, a true friend

he lives

as we miss his cherished presence
we love his eternal essence
and

he lives

until we meet again friend Steve

Charles Bukowski

Humour and humility shone through
every word the public heard.
No hard edge of falseness
to be found, just
decency and laughter
wrapped in gentleness and love.

To the end his wit amused us,
a measure of the man that
he masked such pain so well.
The blessings of his life were brief,
but I believe his legacy will
long outlive this grief.

 THE CRY of THE WHALE

Deep in the Oceans and all seven seas
Dolphins and Whales roamed around free
They know about man, with his barbaric ways
His taste for carnage and for mammals blood
They butchered my mummy with a harpoon gun
You blew out her insides to kingdom-come
But why did you do this? to mummy and me?
Did you not know, we give birth live babies!
We have roamed this planet over millions of years
But the species call humans are our greatest fear
You bring death and distruction to my friends in the deep
A trate all you humans we pray that you delete
We have a language all of our own
Conveying your wickedness where ever we roam
"Please stay where you are, let us be free"
"Give us a chance in the depth of the seas"

This story was whispered to me as I stood alone on a distant sea shore
By my friends, the Whales and Dolphins of this world,lol
