the sky is blue
the sun is yellow
why do planes fly in the air
Did you ever wonder why
lawns are cut and leaves are swept
hair is combed
and clothes are ironed
Have you ever wondered why
if you have the status
your actions are unquestionable
and others who were conservative
are punished for speaking against the other
Have you ever wondered
at the injustice of politicians
the ruling classes
hovering and dictating
infecting the lives of us all
Have you ever wondered why
we are at the mercy of others
why we have given away our power and free choice
why we nolonger honour our own inner wisdom
why we deny our selves
our faith and beliefs
Have you ever wondered how all the insanity of today came into being
why did we commit to this pathway of annihilation
the curse of the human race.
Did you ever wonder why
milk is white and tomatoes are red
why we cry tears when we are sad
and happy alike
and why are fairies dragons and elves a fiction
When did we lose our innocence?
