Can you imagine being confined
unable to move
body dysfunction complete
no movement of limbs hands mouth
unable use your hands or to talk
can you imagine not able to smile
not able to blink
this is the story about a courageous man
the gift of technology an eye mapping machine
can follow the eye movement
and he can look at  the messages and letters
and he is able to communicate to the world
and his love for his family shared
to tell his loved ones how he loves them and
how blessed he feels to be alive
Can you imagine living trapped in a body
no movement at all except through your eyes
and yet this man feels lucky and blessed
and treasures each moment each day that he has with his family.
Can you imagine ....

There was a current affair segment about this courageous man and his family
He suffers from Motor Neuron Disease. I was very moved by his story and it is a reminder that life is so precious and that we can never judge how another perceives their life from our own perspective because unless we know them and listen to how it is for them we can never know.
