the days flow into each other and time has evaporated

we had 10 weeks and now there is 2

and then only 8 and then the year closes.

How fast was that!

and how much has to be done

in those last 10 weeks that remain

and already it is only 9 and 3 days

and it will loose a day for PD

and a day for a carnival

a day for our class assembly

not to mention the unknown interruptions

and inbetween I have to pack up everything

and prepare to leave this great bunc h of kids

and I have to prepare for an interview

and do what I can to ensure emplyment for next year

And I am left wondering and the quickness and flow

of time shared with this little family of children

We have learnt and laughed and played

and shared great times

made friendships and grown

and now to let go of all that is a big ask

and it is a given

times moved on

and there is new challenges ahead

and I am sure that I and the kids will remember

this year shared

It has been special and has has a magical quality

Maybe in years to come when they look back

they too will know what I know now

how precious the gift of Room 35 in 2007 has been
