If I had a way to share
a gift to give to everywhere
it would be to ~ never be alone.

Too many have none near to care
aloneness with their silent air
sounds of merriment unknown.

Send to them a sharing hand
a friend so close to understand
each need and want they miss.

No one should be alone this day
so let us turn to look their way
and give someone ~ a hug ~ or kiss.

Hi Zy

I thought this piece was wonderful and it is often this time of year where we begin to think about those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
This piece made me think of something which we are doing at my place of work at the moment - we have made some star decorations to decorate the tree with and the idea is that each person buys one for 20 pence, writes a message and then puts it on the tree.

All the money we raise goes to a homeless charity over Christmas.
I couldnt ever imagine feeling the way you describe in your poem - I know I kinda have, but... I guess, not the extent which your words have made me think about.
As always, your words are very beautiful and it has been a pleasure to read.

Much love
-F x
