Hi everyone, Christmas is usually such a busy time. Too much shopping, gift wrapping, partying... and, to cap it all off, I'm working right up until Christmas Eve.  Talk about stress! I've got far too much to do at the moment. No time to write poetry, no time to even think about poetry, either! I just don't know where to turn at the moment! Everywhere I look, there's work to be done, gifts to be wrapped, kids running wild... I'm making this break official as we're also having our broadband upgraded. Knowing what workmen are like, it'll probably be another 3 weeks before I can log in again (I just hope that Max lets me onto his site before then). I'll be offline from tomorrow, so I thought that I'd take the opportunity to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and (if I'm not back before then) a Happy New Year - and thanks for putting up with me for the past 3 months! lol.....sounds much like mine, Poetess, compiled with preparation for moving abroad and using all spare time for packing immediately the moment is passed. Hope all goes well with your broadband connection, and all other involvements but....until you are back with us, Zy x HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AND BEST WISHES FOR 2008

| I've just been through upgrading myself,Poetess,and it does take a while. Sorry to have you missing,but wishing you,your family,and friends a happy Christmas,a jolly New Year's Eve,and all the desires of your heart for 2008. |

Awwww,  thank you both very much! Philip, I will speak to you at Max's place as soon as my broadband is up and running again. Knowing how long they take, it'll probably be next Christmas. Oh well! (sigh!) Poetess xx |

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR POETESS!!! Me too, for now that school kids are officially out, I have to clean the muck in this place and decorate. I haven't even put up my tree yet haha. I need to do about 3 loads of laundry too lol. If I keep busy, I will not cry for being alone with just my cat. Good wishes to all for the New Year! |

Thanks once again for all of your kind messages. I'm back a lot sooner than expected. I didn't expect to be back online until after the New Year. I've just had a wonderful Christmas Day. I also have 2 weeks off work, which is fantastic! So I'm going to relax and spend as much time as possible catching up with the wonderful poetry that I've missed over the last few days. I'm still in the process of being upgraded, but at least they're letting me use the internet now (very kind of them  ). |
