Vixen scavenges
trash cans, beneath harvest moon;
somewhere, a dog barks

neon lit vermin
scuttle past street furniture,
and piles of vomit

as dawn breaks, the rain
slickered pavements, grey with grime,
show their true colours

foxy predators,
wearing Jimmy Choos, slip through
night life excrement.

Two of these are published on a Haiku website called Three Lights Gallery, in their current exhibition entitiled 'A pile of leaves'.

Hmmm.... not sure what to do now...nobody has commented on this, so have I put it in the wrong place? Or is it terrible? Or something else? Ann

lol...no, Ann, you have posted them in the correct thread, but this one is quieter than the main board. It's more often read as one is flitting around the perimeter pages, but both Stella and bear are lovers of the Haiku.

Tried to think which ones were exhibited...all are great, but I love the third and fourth particularly, Zy
